Chapter 10

“Great, now he's mad. I get why guys get mad and jealous about these things but wasn't he the one who fired the director? That was because of you, stupid.” Nora could hear her thoughts as if speaking to her in person.

“What do I do? She asked no one in particular, pacing around in circles. “Should I go after him and explain to him? He already knows why I kissed the guy, it was part of the act.”

“I'll just let him cool down on his own and talk about it when I get home. Yes, that's what I'll do.” Nora said to herself, feeling satisfied at the conclusion she came up with.

It didn't take long for her to change her mind, she was about to go after him, guessing he would be in his office when she heard her name being called.

“Madam Nora, you have to change out of the clothes first.” A woman's voice said as softly as she could.

Nora looked at the direction William went and cursed under her breath before apologizing to the lady and going to change.
