At The Dining

Stephanie's heart summersaulted in her chest as she stared at the couple who stared back at her. Right there, she felt her wounds opening up - wounds that never healed in the first place. 

It was obvious they were dropping Benedetta's daughter off as they had a little girl in front of them, and it baffled Stephanie how Nathan took pleasure in caring for another woman's child while he left his at home. 

Benedetta's eyes glinted with guilt as that was her first time meeting face to face with Nathan's ex-wife, although she's seen her pictures and seen her from a distance. Nathan, on the other hand, felt no guilt, but shame. 

"Um...go on now, baby. I'll see you later", Benedetta turned to her daughter, her voice shaking a little. 

"Okay, mummy. Bye". And the little girl left. 

Etta turned to Nathan and could see the shame on his face. She looked back at Steph
