Chapter 23 | Avocado and Eggs

Eden arrives at his apartment and finds Leo watching cartoons. He's already awake while Tyler and Will are sleeping in the corner of the couch, snuggling each other. He chuckles and takes off his shoes. Before Leo shouts, Eden puts his index finger on his lips, and the kid giggles and runs to him without making a sound. He takes him in his arms and kisses his head, "How was your night, buddy?" he whispers.

"Good!" Leo whispers-shouts, "Tyler and Will are so fun! They played with me all night, and Tyler cooked the best pasta ever!"

"That's amazing!" Eden exclaims, "I'm glad to hear it,"

"How was your night, papa?"

"Not as good as yours, buddy," Eden lets out a weak chuckle, "Now, let's make us some breakfast. Will you help me make something for everyone?"

Leo excitedly shakes his head and follows his dad to the kitchen. He picks some eggs from the fridge as instructed and puts pieces of bread in the toaster.
