Chapter 24 | Anxious

Eden finishes getting dressed, sticks the microphone under his necktie and puts on the earbud. He waits for Tyler to come back with their guns. Nothing dangerous ever happened during the previous Annual Charity Events, but the bodyguards need to be armed just in case.

Tyler comes back with a case and opens it before he hands him the pistol. He hides it under his blazer and wishes he won't need to use it.

They wait for Harvey in the main hall of the mansion. He's taking too long to get ready. He and Eden didn't share a word since their argument. Eden has been doing his job quietly while Harvey has been spending time in his room. The last two days, he didn't go to the faculty.

The guards open the main door, and Grayson and his men enter the mansion. All the bodyguards greet him with a bow. Grayson only nods. He's always been the quiet type — he only talks when necessary.
