CHAPTER NINE

SANDRA'S POV

I checked my phone for like the umpteenth time, to check if Victor had replied any of the texts that I sent to him.

It was like three days ever since he texted me and I began to feel worried.

His absence from class also got me worried and overwhelmed with thoughts that something bad must have happened to him.

I had some difficulty in having some sleep last night and I could not take advantage of my sleeplessness to go through some of my school textbooks, due to the unsteadiness of my mind.

Coupled with my worry for Victor, I felt a serious pain at my back, so I had to drag myself to school so I could attend a couple of classes and check if Victor was going to be present in class, all hale and hearty.

Well fortunately for me, I was able to make some friends there at school. They were my departmental colleagues and they were cool.
