Chapter 7

Kylie's POV

Andre and one of the bodyguards' names I just learned was Sam directed the girls into a van.

"It's full," Andre told Sam when I was about to enter the van.

"What do we do? You know she can't ride with us, she belongs to the Don," Sam looked terrified while mentioning Jaylen in their conversation.

"Don won't let her ride with him looking like this," Andre brought his nose close to me then moved it back, "She smells too."

Just let me finish this up, I will definitely kill Andre for saying I smell. I sniffed myself and I wasn't smelling that bad.

"If Don doesn't allow her to ride in the same car with him, she will have to trek all the way to the mansion just like Latisha," Another bodyguard said and entered the driver's seat.

"Who is Latisha?" I asked politely, I didn't want to be in the same shoes as her.

"You don't want to know either but you will meet her soon," Sam smiled, he walked away and I followed behind.

Both Sam and I got to where Jaylen was and he was on a phone call, we stood and waited for Jaylen to finish his call.

Personally, I would have interrupted, I don't know why we are standing and waiting for him, are they that scared of him?

"Don, the minivan is already full and I don't know where to put her," Sam lowered his gaze the moment Jaylen ended the call.

"So?" Jaylen furrowed his eyebrows.

"There is nowhere to put her," Sam gazed, still lowered while I just stood there pretending to be scared.

"Then walk with her to the Villa," Jaylen said nonchalantly and I lifted my head up.

"What?" I said the first thing that came out of my mouth, he wanted me to walk to his Villa, he must be crazy or something.

"Did I hear you say something?" Jaylen took a threatening step towards me and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes in front of him.

A black car with tinted windows stopped in front of us, raising lots of dust, the owner rolled down the glass and it was Vegas, "Guess who's got a car? and is more than willing to rescue you from him," Vegas winked.

Am not gonna lie or anything but Vegas looks like the fun type to be around and he is fine as fuck.

I was about to walk to Vegas's car when I felt Sam hold my wrist, I turned to look at him, "What?" I mouthed to him and Sam hooked his head.

"It's the answer a no? Jaylen doesn't joke you will definitely Walk back to his Villa," A smug smile stretched on Vegas's lips.

"I thought you already left," Jaylen walked to Vegas with a nonchalantly half smile on his face.

"No baby, I was waiting for you," Vegas laughed.

"Vegas, You shouldn't interfere in my business," Jaylen declared with a stern tone, a tight-lipped smile revealing he wasn't playing.

"Okay, for now, She will practically work in the pub or one of your opened businesses so it will be my business," Vegas smirked. I think Vegas likes messing with Jaylen and I wondered what their relationship is.

Both Jaylen and Vegas stared at each other eyeball to eyeball, "Get in the car," Jaylen instructed and Sam's jaw dropped open.

A proud smile appeared on Vegas face, Vegas tapped Jaylen on the shoulder before entering his car and drove away at high speed.

I stood watching to see if Jaylen would change his mind and leave me to fend for myself but he glanced at me, "I said get in the car."

Sam opened the car door for Jaylen while I entered through the other side and I opened the door myself.

"Hmmm, thanks for rescuing me," I started trying to bring a light conversation.

Jaylen glared at me, "I don't want to know your crap story before today so save it," Jaylen laid his head back.

"I.." I was interrupted by Jaylen.

"Increase the music," Jaylen instructed the driver and I knew it was my cue to shut the fuck up.

Why did he offer me a ride? If he was going to be like this, I am sure taking a lift with Vegas would have been more fun, but I was more concerned about how Vegas makes Jaylen do anything he wants without trying too much.

*********

Just as expected the car ride was silent as fuck, with no movement I couldn't even do anything comfortably, I felt like I was in a fucking cage, I truly wondered how I was going to survive this until I finish him off, anyway, the good thing is Jaylen is making it easy for me to kill him.

We stood in a single line in Jaylen's living room, the living room was beyond beautiful and the interior was a kiss, damn whoever designed this really outdid himself.

Jaylen sat on the couch opposite us with his legs crossed and a cigarette in his hands, "you will tell me your name and I will assign your place of work and you will be giving the list of what to and what not."

"I'm Trisha, I'm 22 and.. and," A very timid girl in glasses started first.

"And what!" Jaylen hit his fist on the couch and the timid girl flinched, "I am not jobless so hurry the fuck up."

"Never…. Never mind," Trisha pouted and used her finger to fix her glasses well.

"Nevermind? To me?" Jaylen pointed at himself.

"Boss she doesn't know the rules yet, I will be sure to teach her," Sam interrupted.

Jaylen seemed like a dick and Sam seemed like his right-hand man because of how Jaylen became cool when Sam interrupted.

"Glass girl, Waitress at the restaurant, Sam, help her gain some confidence," With a wave of the hands Trisha moved from the line.

It continued and it was hilarious, Jaylen kept finding fault in everything each girl said and did, and finally it got to my turn.

"Hi, my name is Kylie and.." I bit my tongue when I realized I had given my real name, I was supposed to give a fake name.

"Again? And?" Jaylen sat up straight, his lips twitched up in a small smile, his voice filled with amusement.

"Nothing just Kylie," I lowered my gaze pretending to be scared of his presence.

"Vegas little pet, did you perhaps know Vegas before today?" Jaylen furrowed his eyebrows.

I wondered the type of question Jaylen was asking, if I knew Vegas would I have been auctioned?

"No..no..I have never met him," I stuttered.

"Okay," Jaylen said and stopped when he heard a high-pitched scream.

We all looked at the door to see a blonde girl, she ran to Jaylen and sat on his legs.

"Babe!" She called in a high pitched voice, the Blondie voice sounded like a broken record that could destroy the hearing, "I got the gifts," she hugged him and pecked his lips.

"Hope you liked it," Jaylen returned the peck with a smile on his face.

Jaylen didn't look like someone who had a girlfriend and he didn't look like he was into blonde and loud chicks but people never fail to surprise us.

Jaylen stood up from the chair with Blondie standing next to him, "Kylie that's the name right?" I nodded my head.

"Sam, where do I give her?" Jaylen asked Sam, why the fuck is he asking Sam.

"Maybe the pub?" Sam suggested.

"I don't trust her because of Vegas. Join the house service and they will instruct you on what to do," Jaylen instructed and he picked Blondie from the ground in bridal style while she giggled like a child.

Is Jaylen that dull? He doesn't trust me around his pub but he does around the house, what is he taking?

"I hate his new girlfriend," Sam whispered to another bodyguard.

"It ain't going to last more than a month as usual," another bodyguard laughed it off.

I don't know about all these but am sure I'm in for one hell of a ride.
