CHAPTER 15

“Opss…” The bullies bump onto Mariella’s back and she almost falls on the ground. Thanks to her fast reflexes, she immediately stops it from happening. “You’re blocking our way.”

They laugh and exit the campus. Mariella wants to fight back but she promised her mother not to make any trouble in school again. She almost gets kicked out from school when she takes her revenge on those bullies.

“Fight back,” Rocco appears beside her and walks with her.

“I wanted to,” She’s clenching her fist and imagining those bullies being beaten by her.

“You wanted it? Then do it.”

“I made a promise to mamma.”

“Promises are meant to be broken.” Rocco smirks.

“Tss… you’re such a bad influence.”

“Yeah, yeah. I am. But you never do what I am telling you.”

“Because I know what’s right and wrong. Good and bad.”

“You’re maturing, huh?” He’s teasing her. She’s been childish in the past years but little by little, she learns how the world works. “Just wait and they will stop pestering you.”
