"So? What are you thinking?" Avni nudged me as I was sitting quietly in my room.

"Nothing, it's just..." I paused while speaking.

"It's just?" She looked at me.

"I don't know, I am feeling like something isn't right. Something worse is going to happen soon," I confessed.

"What? What are you saying? Nothing is going to happen. Yeah, we're pretty much stressed due to the attacks and police pressure, but all of this is just for a few days," Avni reasoned out.

"I don't know. I'm feeling like something is off," I replied, thinking about my gut feeling.

"Anyways, is boss home?" I asked her.

"Not yet," she replied.

And then, I heard a rapid knock at the door that startled us.

We looked at the door, and then we looked at each other, pretty confused all of a sudden.

And then, I got up to get the door. The moment I opened the door, I was shocked.

Kiara was standing there, crying and panting. She looked miserable and a mess. My heart sank for a moment, thinking about what happened.
