Garren’s words lingered in my head. I need to be the captain of my heart. I need to be the person in control. I need to be in control of my emotions if I want to be happy.

My sister left this morning and said that she’d go back to Nevada. I really thought she’d stay longer and I wanted that but, apparently, Mom had already contacted her even before she came to Hermosa and she was already expecting her home before the week ends.
