Chapter 12

I was a slave to my emotions. I was a weak girl who can’t even fight her own emotions because the next thing I know, I was already walking home with him. Julian is holding my hand so tight, as if I’m going to be lost when he lets go of it. 

We were both quiet the whole walk home but I can feel that he was a little too clingy. With only our footsteps and breathing heard, my heart is beating faster and faster by the minute. 

Falling in love was never my plan. I have never wanted to get attached to someone while I am on my way to find myself. It is unfair for him. I don’t want anyone hoping for an us when I know that I am leaving anyway. 

But Julian Greene…he’s different. He’s making me break all my principles. He’s making me want for more. He makes me want to stay here. He made me feel different kind of emotions in such a short period of time. He accepted me for who I am even when I am unsure of my own iden
