MIRACLE POV

It’s like I am falling rapidly. Falling down and down.

My heart races faster when I realize I am going to hit the ground soon and my bones are going to be smashed down, broken into pieces.

Gasping for air, I wake up in the morning. I am panting. I don’t see Matthew in my dreams anymore, but I see some strange dreams.

In my dream today, I was just falling without ever hitting the ground. It was like I was floating in the air waiting for the pain to come and claim me so this anxious feeling could go away.

I look down at my clothes which are soaking with sweat. I feel unexplainably hot. I won’t be surprised if I have fever too even if werewolves rarely get sick.

Gulping, I get up from the bed and move toward the washroom. Inside the washroom, I strip and turn on the shower.

My mind is blank because I don’t want to think.

I don’t want to think about anything.
