MIRACLE POV
He looks at me without blinking his eyes. I gulp, feeling nervous all of a sudden.
What now? I wonder, staring deep in his Silver grey orbs.
“ If you succeed tomorrow, I will keep my promise. ” He tempts me for the nth time.
“ You make me nervous every time you talk about this, Cain. Please trust that I will try my best and go to sleep now. ” I sigh out, tiredly.
“ For the small time period we are supposed to be together, don’t repeat the bullshit about love. It won’t be good for any of us. ” His tone changes to a cold one as he hisses at me and then turns around to let his back face me.
I feel dumbfounded. What just happened? He hates the idea of me loving him or confessing to him now? That’s new. I was not expecting this to be honest.
Shaking my head, I turn around to let my back face him too as I think about what I have to do tomorrow.
