Cassandra’s POV
When I first woke up from my sleep, I furrowed my brow as I felt a strange pain in my private area.
I hadn’t fully opened my eyes yet, but I could feel warmth on my back. And this usually didn’t happen... and it shouldn’t have happened.
I quickly opened my eyes because a suspicion made me want to find out what had really happened.
As soon as my eyes opened, I swear I wanted to scream when I realized that I wasn’t waking up in my room like I was supposed to. I woke up in a completely foreign place... one that, unfortunately, I clearly remembered because I had been in this situation a month ago.
That fact alone wasn’t shocking enough; I was further startled by the movement behind me, along with the sound of a man softly snoring.
Oh God...
I didn’t dare turn my body now...
However, when an arm moved around my waist, I could feel our skin touching directly under the blanket, and that led me to the realization that I... was naked.
No...
No...
“What am I doing here?!” I couldn’t hold myself back and screamed in fear as I saw Mr. Alexavier asleep beside me.
From what I could see, I knew the man wasn’t wearing a shirt.
“Oh God...” I lowered my head and pulled the blanket to cover my body when I realized what had happened between us. I couldn’t hold back my tears anymore. Anger was clearly in my mind, but I knew that, rather than being angry, I felt far more disappointed in myself.
“Damn, don’t cry. You’re making me feel really bad here.”
Of course, my screams and tears woke Mr. Alexavier. He woke up and sat on the edge of the bed—his back to me so I could see his back... which was covered in tattoos.
I didn’t give a damn about that; my own situation was so bad now that I didn’t know what to do.
“I’m the worst one here,” I said, still crying.
Unlike the previous incident, where I often forgot parts of what happened when I was drunk, I remembered what happened last night. Well, I don’t really remember every detail, but I knew... that I couldn’t blame just one party for what had occurred.
I... had willingly accepted everything because I wasn’t aware of what I was doing.
“Is it because I’m your first man?” Mr. Alexavier turned his head at the moment I was staring at his back, so now our gazes collided.
“You what?” I murmured in disbelief.
No... how could this happen?
I... didn’t I already give myself to that bastard on our wedding night? I was drunk at that time, but I remembered that I had reciprocated his kiss.
For the past month, I believed I had given my virginity to my husband—the husband I married without ever meeting beforehand. And now I was just finding out that my assumption was wrong, and I had actually given myself to my boss.
This fact was far worse than I thought.
“What do you mean?” Mr Alexavier raised an eyebrow calmly, as if waking up naked next to a woman was an everyday occurrence for him. “Didn’t you know you were a virgin?”
That question felt like a stone that had been deliberately dropped on my heart.
I hated this fact...
I hated the fact that I thought giving myself to my husband was better than sleeping with my boss. And I knew it happened because of my naive trust in marriage, even though this marriage was just a game created by that bastard to ruin my life.
However, no matter the reason... I was a married woman now.
“Listen, I have to admit my mistake because I did it when you were drunk. But I hope you remember that this was our mutual agreement. You didn’t reject me, and I couldn’t hold myself back.”
That explanation only made me feel worse.
I couldn’t accept this fact.
I had kept myself safe for 23 years from the free relationships most teenagers younger than me had. I kept it for those damn 23 years, only to find that a man who wasn’t my husband took it from me when I was drunk.
“Stop crying, Cassandra. It won’t change anything, you know?”
“Then what should I do?” I snapped back angrily. “Throw myself at you again?”
“That sounds harsh, but I know you’d say that because you’re so shocked.”
I didn’t expect him to respond so calmly.
However, that calmness irritated me even more.
“You don’t know anything, damn it!” I glared at him with hatred that I knew I should have directed at myself. “I’m married, and this shouldn’t have happened between us. What should I tell my husband now? Should I go to him and tell him that I lost my virginity because I slept with my boss while I was drunk?”
I didn’t know where I found the courage to say all that. Everything felt complicated in my mind, and this was driving me crazy if I didn’t say it clearly.
“You know what?” Mr. Alexavier looked at me with a hardened expression as though he was holding something back inside. “If that’s your problem, then you don’t need to worry about it.”
That response was beyond my expectations. And I swear I was even more shocked when I saw that he crawled back onto the bed and quickly moved toward me. I couldn’t stop him because I was too stunned by what was happening. But when he pushed me to the headboard and forced a kiss on me, I couldn’t stop myself from hitting and pushing him away.
My hand released the blanket that I had originally used to cover my nakedness. I couldn’t think about that anymore as I had to use both my hands and legs to kick the man in front of me.
All my efforts were in vain, and I couldn’t fight against his much stronger force compared to my body. My groin ached every time I used my legs to try to kick him, and now I understood the reason very clearly.
When my hands and legs couldn’t do anything, there was only one thing I could do now.
I bit his lip hard until I could taste salty liquid on my tongue. I didn’t release it even though now the bastard screamed in pain from what I was doing.
Alright, now I had two bastards in my life, and I swore I would make them regret messing up my life.
I released my lips and pushed his body away with force. He fell back, and I could see blood coming from his lips.
After doing that, I jumped down from the bed and grabbed a black shirt that was lying on the floor.
That was the only thing I could find, so I quickly put it on before running toward the door.
Mr. Alexavier watched everything I did, but he just stayed silent on the bed. He sat calmly, observing me do everything. I briefly saw bloodstains on the sheets, and I swore it wasn’t Mr. Alexavier’s blood.
“Are you just going to leave me like this?” he asked calmly.
I was grateful that the door key was still hanging there, so I didn’t have to struggle to open it.
“Should I take revenge by killing you here?”
“My gun is in the drawer if you need it,”
I knew the man was crazy. And I didn’t need to respond to his madness.
So, I immediately opened the door and slammed it shut behind me. I didn’t care if he was offended by what I did; that was no longer my problem.
The problem now was that I had to remember the way out of this super huge mansion without getting lost like the last time I did. I couldn’t clearly recall it because I had walked around the whole house several times before finally finding the front door.
Some women in uniforms, like the maids from the movies I often watched, were now staring at me in confusion. I didn’t know how many maids there were in this house, but I thought I could ask for their help.
“I need to get out of here,” I said, looking at one of them. “Can you help me?”
Despite looking confused, one of the women nodded and quickly walked in front of me. She led me to the right, down a long hallway, and finally found an elevator at the end of the hallway.
“Go down to the first floor, and you’ll find the door,” she said.
I didn’t know there was an elevator here when I first arrived. But this fact made things easier for me.
“Thank you,” I said as I ran into the elevator and pressed the button for the first floor.
While in there, I stared at my reflection in the mirror and realized how messy I looked now. I was wearing a baggy black shirt with no underwear, and I was running barefoot.
I had no idea how I would get home now. I’ll think about that later. The important thing was that I had to get out of here.
When the elevator doors opened, I immediately ran out and found the main door the maid had mentioned. As soon as I spotted it, I ignored the pain in my groin and ran again.
I thought Mr. Alexavier would stop me as I escaped, but it didn’t happen.
I had to be grateful for that.
“Cassie, what are you doing here in the morning?”
Just as I was almost at the main door, someone opened it from the outside, and that stopped me in my tracks.
I froze stiffly in place, staring at the man—the last person I wanted to see on this earth.
Oh God, I really wanted to smack my head right now. Just when I wanted to sneak away from here so no one would know what I had done, why was the person closest to me here seeing me in such a disheveled state?
“Cassie, how did you end up here?” He repeated his words as he walked closer with a look of disbelief.
At that moment, I knew I couldn’t save anything. I fucked up. And I... felt even more broken when I saw Franco witnessing my mess.
Cassandra’s POVI sat limply in the waiting room, which was Monica's office after the woman had taken me out of the auction room. Monica said the other women had already been taken by their buyers because most of them were sold for 15-25 thousand dollars. They could make payments with the operator on duty there and leave without a trace, taking their chosen women wherever they wanted. However, something different happened to me.“I knew you were beautiful from the moment I saw you come in here. Even then, you were unconscious, and I couldn’t see your eyes. But I was sure you would fetch a good price at tonight’s auction. But one million dollars?” Monica clicked her tongue and shook her head. “This is beyond my expectations. No one has ever fetched that much. The most I’ve ever gotten was 100 thousand dollars, and that was when I was lucky because the only son of a winery owner was bored and decided to spend some of his money here.”I stared at her in fear. One million dollars was no s
Cassandra’s POVI still shook my head vigorously when I heard what the woman in front of me said.Among all the nightmares I’ve endured because of my father, I could tell tonight the worst one.“Usually, I’m not this kind to others. But you look so pitiful, so I’m making an offer.” The woman shrugged. “When I started this business, my network wasn’t as large as it is now, so 20 thousand dollars for a woman was impossible. But I can guarantee you that all the guests who come have more than enough money to buy a woman. If they don’t have that much, of course, they’ll choose to sleep with an ordinary woman who can be rented at a lower price. They’re prostitutes who are no longer that attractive. All the women auctioned here are high-quality. So the customers are more interested in the auction at my place.”“I’m married,” I shook my head, “I don’t have that kind of quality.” At least, I knew they’d probably prefer to buy a virgin woman for a fantastic price. The problem is, I just lost my
Cassandra’s POVI might have to crown this week as the most chaotic week of my life. However, it turns out there’s still one more mess waiting for me in the daylight when I had just stepped out of my room to refill my glass with water.“Mom, I think we need to go to the doctor.” I looked at my mother with worry as I noticed her face growing even paler, her breathing becoming heavier.Among all the problems I have, I have to admit that the hardest one for me is seeing my mother suffer from her illness while I can’t do much.“I am fine, Cassie.” My mother closed her eyes and squeezed my hand. “We don’t have much money lately, so you need to be more frugal.”“How could I think about being frugal when you’re sick?” I looked at her in frustration.I found out that my father still hadn’t sent me any money even though he was supposed to, according to our agreement. That man… he must be doing this on purpose, just like he always does.“I know you’re in trouble now, which is why you’re not wor
Christopher's POVAfter Cassandra ran away from my house, I sent someone to follow her. I also sent a taxi for her because I knew she didn’t have money and didn’t bring her phone. She left her phone and her bag in my car. So, I also sent those items to her house after installing GPS on both of her phones.“You did it, right?” Dexon, who had been sitting quietly across from me, now spoke after a medic finished wrapping the wound on my neck.“Did what?”There are so many possible meanings for that damn question, and I didn’t want to fall into a trap.“Telling her,” Dexon frowned. “You told her you’re her husband.”“Oh,” I nodded.“What do you think I was asking?” He asked again.I ignored the question and chose to focus on the GPS of the taxi Cassandra was riding. She actually went home, not stopping by a bar like she used to do when she was frustrated.“Franco messed everything up. I want you to handle his work while I figure out what to do with him.”“You’re not thinking of killing hi
“Cassie,” Franco's voice echoed again, and the only thing I could do was cry. From the way he looked at me, I could tell he had figured everything out. The conclusion was spinning in his head, and I could see it so clearly.“Franco, it’s not what you think,” I stepped forward while Franco stepped back as if he didn’t want me to come any closer. That fact hurt me even more.I knew he felt disgusted with me.“Where were you last night?” he asked, his jaw clenched and his sharp gaze piercing me like a knife.“I…” I couldn’t find an answer. I was at this house when I first opened my eyes, and that alone answered the question of where I was last night.“I searched for you all night, trying to call you, but you were nowhere to be found. I spent the entire night looking for you at clubs and just caused a scene there because I couldn’t find you. I even went to your mother’s house to check if you’d gone home. I did all of that because I was worried about you, damn it!” He shouted so loudly tha

Christopher's POVCassandra's tears were enough to answer the question I asked her.Obviously, she couldn't answer it. She covered her face and cried under me while the only thing I could do was freeze without knowing what to do now. This was my first time sleeping with a virgin. I had never done it before because I prefer experienced women to spend hot nights with me. Unfortunately, I misrecognized Cassandra when I should have been able to read her from the first time we kissed. However, now I couldn't turn back the clock.I was Cassandra's first man, and I couldn't change that. I had her first experience when she was drunk, and it was crazy. I'm sorry that she might forget this incident like she did before.Oh, I won't let her forget it then.“Open your eyes, Cassandra.” I kissed her eyelids once more. She obeyed like a puppy. Once her eyes opened, the first thing I did was to make sure she was looking at me properly.“Promise me you won't forget any of this,” I said as I looked dow
Christopher's POVI poured a drink into my glass while my eyes remained fixed on a woman now sitting on the second floor. I didn’t know how many glasses she had consumed, but from her movements, I could tell she was starting to get drunk.Damn, she’s a mess when drunk, and I know I can’t trust anyone right now.“How long are you going to stare at her? I feel like you’re about to break Franco’s arm just because he touched Cassandra’s arm.”I didn’t take my eyes off Cassandra even as I heard Dexon’s comment. To hell with that man. Honestly, I’m here because of his mistake, too.“I didn’t leak her plan to party with Franco just to see you sitting here all night, Chris,” he complained again.“I don’t give a shit about that,” I said, drinking from my glass before pouring more.My decision to skip going to the office wasn’t enough to stop me from coming here and secretly watching Cassandra as she got drunk on the second floor.“It’s so funny how you’re watching her here like a jealous husba
Cassandra’s POVAfter work, I usually spend time with my mom before falling asleep out of sheer exhaustion. But tonight, I decided to do something different. I... didn’t know how to escape all of this and ended up choosing the most foolish thing I’ve ever done.“You need this drink to refresh yourself!” Franco said, walking toward me with a glass he got from the bartender. We were at one of the biggest nightclubs in New York. Don’t even ask how crowded it was—this place was like an ocean of people, with music pounding loudly. Franco had seated me at one of the sofas upstairs—a semi-private spot on the second floor that wasn’t too crowded. From here, I could see the dance floor, where hundreds of people were dancing freely.“I think I do,” I nodded, accepting the drink he handed me. “Is this alcoholic?” I brought the rim of the glass to my nose, grimacing slightly at the strong smell of alcohol.“Of course!” Franco poured more alcohol from a bottle into his glass, drinking it casually.
