Third-Person POV

Your wedding day, the day that’s supposed to be the happiest day of your life, a day that’s memorable because you are walking down the aisle to meet the man you will love forever, the man you are going to swear your commitment to. It’s supposed to be an enjoyable day filled with family and friends, your now lawfully wedded husband, and so much dancing and joyous music, and fortunately, it was exactly how my wedding went.

I have never been this happy. The wedding was private and in a private beach house. I was surrounded by people I loved and people who genuinely loved me. Unlike my first wedding, this one I was in total control. I get to pick my gown, the venue, colours, and the food. Dexter let me do whatever I wanted; he was with me all through, encouraging me and giving me ideas. He didn’t care what I picked; all he wanted was to finally claim me as his wife, but you know how women are, very indecisive.

But after a few months of planning, I finally got my dream w

Aurora’s POVNorman sighed, standing in front of me at the side of my car.“You are not staying alone, Aurora. You will stay in the penthouse with me; there are two rooms and enough space for both of us to avoid each other. Please, don’t let me drag you into the hotel by force; it won’t look good on your reputation,” he begged. “I don’t want to stay in this hotel, Norman. I am already traumatized enough as it is; don’t you have any compassion or empathy?” I asked, looking at him. He looked so annoyed with me already, but I really don’t want to stay here. How did those men get in? I remembered they mentioned something about CCTV. I am not safe here.“Why are you so stubborn?" he asked.“Why are you so arrogant?” I asked back. We both look at each other, nobody bugging. Johnson cleared his throat.“I’m sorry to interrupt, sir,” he said. “What?” Norman snapped at him, and Johnson flinched.“I told you not to disrespect my employees,” I snapped at him, sitting up. Johnson looked at both

  • Married To The Crippled CEO   Chapter 75(Panic Attack)

Aurora’s POVI heard a beeping sound as I slowly woke up from my sleep. I opened my eyes, and I was in a hospital ward. The horrid smell of the pills and fluid was all I could smell. The room was quiet, and no one was there except me. The door opened, and I quickly shut my eyes.“Yes, I will handle everything. You don’t need to come here; the police have yet to catch the culprits,” I heard Norman say. I didn’t hear anything else except his short replies. “Okay, I will keep you updated,” he said. I felt him walk to me, and then I felt a dip on the bed. “I know you are awake,” he said to me. My eyes flung open, and he was looking down at me. For some reason, I can see the look of relief in his eyes. “I will get the nurses,” he said, standing up and walking away. Soon, the nurses came, and they asked me a lot of questions, some I was able to reply to weakly. “She is stable now. She will remain with us for a while before she can be fully discharged. If you need anything, don’t hesitat

  • Married To The Crippled CEO   Chapter 74(Difficult Man)

Aurora’s POVI sighed, leaving my room and heading to the rough top. I think about 3 hours have passed by, and I only turned around on the bed. I couldn’t sleep no matter how hard I tried, and I am far away from sleep. I decided to go to the rooftop and maybe stare into the night; maybe then I would feel tired. I tied my robe around me tightly, only wearing a nightgown and a robe tied over it. The robe was long and flowing behind me. I used the elevator, and soon, I got to the rooftop.I opened the door, and I was glad the rooftop was empty. I sighed, walking fully in; however, I stopped in my tracks when I noticed Norman looking over the city. He wore his black office pants and a black shirt, which he had rolled up the sleeves of. I walked towards him, and when I got close, I realised he was smoking. I stood beside him quietly, looking over the city. Some cars were on the road, and a few trucks were passing by honking. I loved how gentle the breeze was, and I felt calm, away from all

  • Married To The Crippled CEO   Chapter 73(Three Years Later)

Aurora’s POVThe crowd clapped loudly, cheering Norman and me as we climbed up the stage. He was holding my hand softly while I held my gown up so I wouldn’t trip over. Tonight, Norman and I are launching a new automobile, and we have been planning this for the past three years. Tonight is finally the night, and tonight, we are going to unveil the vehicle. The crowd continued clapping as we stood on the stage in front of the mics; I almost got blinded by the flashes, but I was used to it.“Good evening, lady and gentlemen. Thank you for honouring us tonight. As you all know, my name is Norman Anderson, CEO and founder of Norman’s Group, and this is Ms Aurora King, CEO of Sinclair’s Empire. About three years ago, we began a journey, a collaboration…” I turned Norman off because it is going to be a long speech. The only things I could hear were the flashes and Norman’s voice. The past three years have been amazing, with lots of ups and downs, but nothing too much to handle. Work has bee

  • Married To The Crippled CEO   Chapter 72(A Snippet Of His Past)

Aurora’s POV“Hello,” I said with a cheerful voice as I walked into Dad’s study. He was behind his big wooden desk, holding a book. He looked up, and when he saw me, his face lifted up in a smile.“What are you reading?” I asked, dropping my bag. He dropped the book, breathing out.“Just some book,” he replied, standing up. He came to me, and we shared a slight hug.“Just coming back from the office, and I wanted to stop by because I want to discuss something with you,” I said. “Oh really? Have a seat,” he said, and we both sat on the couch in his study. “Norman sent a proposal to the office,” I said. Dad looked back at me, shocked.“Really?” he asked. I nodded.“Yes, Quinn looked quite surprised, and you also look surprised by it. Why?” I asked. Dad sighed. “I am guessing you did some research on him?” he asked. I nodded.“All you read is true; the only difference is the media aren’t aware of a few things,” he said. I hummed; it’s always like that. “Norman was my godson, and he w

  • Married To The Crippled CEO   Chapter 71(Proposal)

Aurora POV“This is a proposal from Norman Anderson,” my secretary, Rosie, said. Quinn looked up as she heard the name, and she quickly collected the file, flipping through it. We were in my office, and we were tending to some files. A week has passed after that party, and I would admit that I have totally forgotten about him. I didn’t even ask Dad about their relationship. It completely skipped my mind. Now, my attention has been brought back to him, and I wondered why Quinn was interested in the proposal.“He declined all the proposals I sent to him,” she mumbled, flipping through it, and Rosie glanced at me. “Why is this a big deal?” I asked. She snapped out of her thoughts and cleared her throat. She handed the file to me, and I flipped through it.“Mr Anderson refused to work with our company before, and we sent him tons of proposals, all of which he ignored. I am surprised he wants to work with us now after rejecting us countless times,” she said, switching to a professional mo
