Chapter 25. The Arrogant James

Clarabelle invited Crystal and James to have dinner together. The three of them, without Adriano. The dinner meal was simple but quite enjoyable. Clarabelle was pretty good at cooking. As before, Crystal told a lot of things, making the atmosphere among them not stiff. And James, occasionally looked at Clarabelle, making her a little uncomfortable.

“You should come to visit me often, Lala. I want to cook with you. You're ready, right?" Crystal spoke with a beaming face, looking at Clarabelle who was smiling at her.

"Sure, Granny. As long as Papa is healthy, I will come to see Granny," said Clarabelle.

James barely spoke. Only occasionally looked at Crystal and Clarabelle who chatted happily. Clarabelle thought James was very different from Jordan, who was friendly and gentle. James looked cold and very indifferent. Clarabelle wasn't too bothered by it, though Clarabelle knew James didn't like it.

“Before I go home, I have to say goodbye to Adriano. It's not good if I don't meet right
