Chapter 16 - Let's meet up

Anastasia's POV

I sat in the main living room, my hands placed over my ears and my knees to my chest. I rocked on the sofa back and forth in deep thoughts.

“ I think he knows who I am now,” I said to Stella who was sitting across from me.

“ I would have dropped a word or two of comfort but even I feel the same way. Why did you even look back in the first place?” She slapped her forehead in frustration.
