"The drive to the estate is going to be a long one, so I thought you'd like it if we went shopping for a few snacks".

Grace cut off the cars engine before she opened her door. When I didn't move immediately she bent down and popped her head in through the open space between the driver seat door and asked ," Aren't you coming?"

"Oh, right. Sorry", I opened my door quickly and slammed it shut right when I was outside. We both made our way to the back of the car before walking side by side towards the supermarket. The sun was just about to disappeared behind the horizon as it shown it's last rays of golden light brightly against the side of my face. Grace glanced my way and smiled. She's really happy to see me, I just wish I could reciprocate those feelings right now. I'm feeling kinda sad all of a sudden and it's making my chest feel heavy.
