I grimaced. “Actually, she didn’t answer me at all. She completely ignored the question and tried to distract me with her sweet little body instead.”

“Then I think you know your answer. She’s in this for your money. She isn’t going to hook up with some poor schmuck. She only gave you the time of day because you have the means to take her out to the best restaurants and give her that good life. You said she’s a model, right?”

I nodded. “Yes.”

“Well, models have short shelf lives. She’s probably looking for financial security. You’re her sugar daddy. How old is she?”

“Twenty-eight.”

He shrugged. “She’s a little young for you.”

I rolled my eyes. “She’s not that young.”

“I don’t know, man. I think she snowed you. She made you want her. She showed you one side of her to get your guard down. Now you know the real her. They’re all the same.”

I shook my head. “She’s not the same,” I defended.

“Obviously, she is. I don’t know. Do what you want, but you damn well better secure that inher
