CARTER'S MOTHER POV

The following morning came. It felt so quick to me when I heard the sound of my alarm in the morning.

I had gotten myself ready and had my breakfast with Charlotte. She was looking beautiful like always. Fully dressed to go out and have fun.

"Will I take my leave now, mother?" She said once she was done eating her food. Took her purse and phone before bouncing out of the mansion.

I was almost done with mine. So once I ate the last spoon, I went into the living room to rest, and not just rest, to call out to my son and demand an explanation.

I haven't forgotten, no I didn't. I made sure that was the first thing that came popping into my head when I woke up.

Taking out my phone, I dialed Carter's number. It rang for some minutes, before he finally picked it.

"Hello Mom," He said to me.

"Carter, I want to see you. Come over to the mansion, we need to talk," I said, tabling out my demand.
