Four.

Stefano was going to his father's office when he realized that he was attending to other people.

They were talking about him.

"We know that Stefano won't be able to take over the company without being married. I can't find anything else to tell him to make him realize his mistake" his father spoke while he was behind the door listening.

"You have to put an end to this, Giordano. We already know that he will not do anything to get a marriage. If you don't get a solution this week, I will not continue supporting this project."

The man was too upset, as was his partner, who hadn't said a word since Stefano had been listening.

He decided that he would go in. He wouldn't stay there watching how they despised his father's work, which wasn't little.

"You shouldn't talk about the company like that, especially knowing that anyone could hear you" spoke the youngest of all those present as he entered the office.

The three of them froze, looking like statues in place.

"You know that what we say is true, you haven't done anything right. You already have an advanced age to know that you should stop flirting with every woman that crosses your path" spoke the man who was talking with his father.

"And you're old enough to know that a man's knowledge of a business isn't determined by a wedding ring," Stefano countered, cold-blooded.

"Nobody would trust a real estate consultant or a company that isn't managed by a married couple" Giordano spoke, somewhat annoyed by the tone his son was using.

"I still don't understand why that's a must for a company that almost everyone knows about and sells itself."

"It's important because people are interested in knowing more about the personal lives of celebrities who run big businesses than the companies themselves," the man insisted.

"Well, what makes you think I can't get a woman's hand in marriage?"

"I know you're not capable of proposing to anyone. The word commitment is too big for you" he replied, with a withering look.

"You will see that you are wrong, sir."

"Show me" insisted the older.

Stefano extended his hand to the man, giving it a strong squeeze.

With this, the pact was sealed. He had exactly seven days to get a woman to agree to marry him.

One week to see how he would make a marriage contract.

He wouldn't get married even if he was drunk, that was something completely foreign to someone like him.

As soon as he left the office, he called a good friend of his. A good lawyer, he knew he was going to need it.

He knew that finding a woman would not be a problem, but if he wanted to inherit the position in the company, she had to be someone capable of reaching his level.

It couldn't be just any girl.

He had to be able to bribe whoever was with him, especially if they were going to spend time together.

The lawyer told him that they could meet at one of Stefano's favorite coffee shops in ten minutes.

After some time, both were at the cafeteria table.

"So what you want is to draw up a marriage contract in which it is specified that after that time you both will not see each other again, right?"

"That's right" answered the man with the last name Mancini.

"To do that, we have to know what the number is that this woman is going to face so that she can accept the deal."

"A few million will do," Stefano commented.

"Yeah, they sure work for whoever is lucky. Do you have someone in mind yet?" the lawyer wanted to know.

"At the moment I have no idea, but rest assured I'll find her. Maybe I should do a casting" the taller of the two said, taking a sip of his cold coffee.

"A casting? For what purpose?".

"We can say that is a job interview" Stefano spoke as if he was used to referring to people as objects.

"I understand... Whatever way you get to that woman. Be sure to investigate her first" was the advice the lawyer could give him since he wasn't very sure of the methods that the black-haired man implemented.

"Of course, I will. I won't bring just anyone into my house."

"I heard that there is indeed a woman in your house."

"That's a very different case. It's not my fault it got through."

"You should be thankful to be alive."

"I suppose" Stefano answered, not caring much about her situation "It would have looked really bad if I left her there bleeding out."

"You're right."

"How did you know about that matter?"

"I have my informants. You should be aware by now."

"Sure, a lawyer can't go through life without protection."

"Even more when we deal with issues of influent people, don't you think?"

Stefano nodded and then they both shook hands to say goodbye.

The taller man decided that he would return to the house a little earlier than usual since he wanted to think more clearly about the casting of women.

She must be a candidate with enough good presence that she didn't look too different from him. She had to be beautiful and know at least etiquette and protocol.

He had no idea where he could find someone like that, but on the way home he came up with a very different idea than what he had already planned in his head.

When the driver parked in front of the mansion, he got out of the car and realized that his mother was there.

He greeted her with a cheek kiss and went straight to the second floor.

Once in front of the door that separated him from the girl who had been injured in the restaurant, he thought several times about whether or not he should go in and talk to her.

He did not want to knock, but this was not necessary, because one of the nurses suddenly opened the door and then he could not escape.

Natalia was awake, so there was no excuse.

He was very aware that this should be quite easy. It was just offering a good amount of money in exchange and that's it.

Once he entered, he stood there for a moment, staring into the woman's face.

"Something happens?" wanted to know the girl, somewhat restless and even uncomfortable.

"I have a proposition for you."

"What kind of proposal?" she frowned.

"Will you marry me?" Stefano asked.

She froze in her place, not knowing what to answer.

What the hell?!
