Sunset Regrets

The sun was already low, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink. Marco walked along the shoreline, feeling the cool sea breeze on his face. He couldn't resist the urge to see the sunset, so he decided to go to the beach.

As he approached the shore, he saw a familiar figure standing by the water's edge. Even though the woman was facing away from him, Marco knew all too well who it was.

He halted on his steps, admiring her from a distance. She had her back on him, but he could tell that she was enjoying the view too. Despite feeling content just gazing at her, Marco couldn't resist the temptation to move closer.

The sea was restless and noisy, but the woman's hair danced in the wind as if it had a mind of its own. She brushed a stray lock of hair away from her face, and as she did, her eyes met his.

He felt his heart skip a beat and quickly looked away, pretending to enjoy the sunset. But when he turned his gaze back to her, she was already staring straight at him. He sucked in
