Darren's POV

I paced up and down on the balcony, thinking about ways to find Kyle and Sharlynn. I had already sent witches to locate Kyle but they couldn't find him because he was possessed. His soul could not be found anywhere unless the demon Aveera placed in Kyle leaves him. 

Meredith was standing outside our house, watching me. She knew that I was on the verge of losing control of my temper and when that happens...well things never really end up well. 

" We've found him!" I heard Nathan, one of the witches under Meredith yell as he was flowed by two other women. He was running as fast as he could to our house but I didn't have the patience for his feeble legs to reach where I was so I sped off to him, startling him.

I stretched out my hand and he quietly placed the piece of white paper in my hands before he left. I knew that he feared me because of my vampire side but rather than feel bad about the fact that I wanted to be loved and not fear
