Chapter Three

Mated to my human best friend. 

Chapter Three. 

The Fight. 

Kate. 

"You? Just you? You are going to kill me?" I asked, laughing hard. “You can’t kill me, darling, and you shouldn't take the risk of offending me. I’m someone you can’t afford to offend. You don’t want to see me get angry,” 

“Are you threatening us, bitch?" Michelle demanded. “You think we can't do anything to you because of Kelly? Then watch me rip your mouth open," 

I ignore them and keep packing my books. They don't deserve my attention. Who the hell do they think they are? They’re trying hard to provoke the beast in me. Their empty threats were all but noise in my ears. Without minding them again, I hung my bag and turned to leave. My hair was dragged immediately. It stings. It was Michelle. 

I don’t want to pick a fight with them. Why are they digging their graves so fast? I’m the kindest person, but also the most dangerous person on earth. 

“What do you think you are doing?” I ask calmly. “Are you trying to pick a fight with me?” 

“And what do you think it is?" She asked, dragging my hair harder. “I’m teaching you some lessons, bitch. I will show you some examples of what’s going to happen to you if you refuse to stay away from someone else’s boyfriend.” 

I smirk. These little girls are toying with the devil. Only if they know what they are getting themselves into. Only if they had the slightest idea of the beast are they trying to provoke. 

“Let me go,” I warn. “Let go of my hair,” 

“I won’t,” she stated before clutching hard on my hair. “And what are you going to do if I refuse to let you go? I dare you to do your worst,” 

Without arguing again. I grab her hand and began twisting it. 

“Ahh!” she screams. “What the hell are you doing, bitch?” 

I guess she isn’t feeling the pain yet, because if she was, she wouldn’t be calling me a bitch. I twist harder than before. 

“Ahh! Let go of me”, she cries out. "It hurts like hell," 

Her friends attack me. Without letting her go, I beat them all, including Kyle’s precious girlfriend, Tina. 

“Please, I beg you, Kate,” she wailed. “I’m sorry, please let me go,” 

I didn't listen to her pleas because, if I were in her shoes right now, they would never let me go, no matter how much I pleaded. I don't start a fight, but when someone picks a fight with me, I make them regret ever doing that. My wolf enjoys inflicting pain on its victims. She finds satisfaction in their pain. My wolf is thrilled and enjoying what I’m doing to these bitches right now. 

“What the hell is happening here?! Kyle asks as he walked in. “Hey Kate, what are you doing? 

“Baby!" Tina whines. “Are you blind not to notice me on the floor? Can’t you see that I’m in pain? Are you not going to help me up?” 

“I’m so sorry. Easy, I got you,” he said, helping her up, "What happened? Why are you on the floor?” 

She began to shed fake tears. “It’s her,” she whimpered in a helpless voice, pointing at me. "I wanted to make friends with her. She didn’t only reject being my friend. She beat me and my friends up. Baby, she threatened to kill me if I don't break up with you," 

I’m not surprised because this is what I’m hoping for her to say to her boyfriend. I know well what she's capable of doing, and someone here is going to fall for her lies. He’s going to believe her. 

“What! “Are you telling the truth, Tina? 

“Are you saying I’m lying to you? She flared up. “Why are you not believing me?" 

“No, baby, it’s not like I’m not believing you. I just find it hard to believe Kate can do this. I’m really shocked, that's all,” 

"But that's the truth," 

“I don't think Kate can say something like this. Maybe you got what she was trying to say all wrong," 

“Oh! Are you trying to say your girlfriend is a liar?" She yells at him. “Are you calling me a liar because of her? I can't believe it. You know what? I should have accepted breaking up with you instead of her beating me up and you choosing not to trust me,” 

“What your girlfriend is saying is all true. Kate asked her to break up with you or else she’s gonna kill her, and when Tina refused to listen to her, she attacked us all. Kate isn't exactly the Saint you think she is,” Cassie said 

Kyle looks into my eyes before approaching me. 

“Tell me, Kate. Tell me everything I just heard from them is a lie. I want you to tell me they’re lying about you,” 

What can I say? It’s not like he’s going to believe me over his girlfriend. He loves her too much to detect her lies. He’s never going to believe me. I pushed Michelle away. She dropped to the floor with a loud thud. Kyle stares at me, surprised. 

I walk to where Tina is standing. She quickly hid behind her boyfriend. 

I smirk. Even if she crawls into his body, I’m still going to drag her out. 

“You said I attacked you because you refused to break up with him, right?” I ask. 

“Yes, you did!” she yells. “You beat me up because you are jealous of our relationship. You told me to break up with my darling”, 

“Okay!" 

With my werewolf speed, I drag her out of her hiding place. I slam her hard on the floor. She groans and screams in pain. I didn’t stop. I pull her up with her hair before I begin to slap her mouth. That mouth she use in lying against me. 

“Stop it, Kate!’’ Kyle cries out. “You’re hurting her,” 

I stop and push her away. 

“I think you got your answer, Kyle,” I said, before picking up my bag and walking out of the class.
