Mated to my human best friend .

Chapter two. 

Kate. 

"Hi, my darling Kate," Kyle greets me. He hugs and kisses me on my cheek. "How are you?" 

"Hey, dude. Can you stop hugging and kissing me?" 

"Why?" He asks, still trying to kiss me. "Are you still angry about what happened?" 

I gave him no response. Why should I answer that when it's pretty obvious? 

"But I thought I already apologized to you yesterday. I’m sorry, Kate. Please, forgive me. I'm just too possessive of Tina and I can't help it. Please, try to understand," 

"I‘m not mad at you, dude. I just don’t want your crazy girlfriend to attack me, because I won’t fold my hands when she attacks me because of you, and I trust you are going to support her like you always do, and forsake your friend," I mutter, pushing him away. 

"I still don't understand why you seem so irritated, darling," he enunciates. "You’re my best friend, and Tina is my girlfriend. You both are important to me, but she’s more dear to my heart. She’s the love of my life," 

I stare at the lover boy in front of me. He’s crazy in love with her. I wonder what’s gonna happen to him if he catches her cheating on him. He’s the only one in love in their relationship. Tina was just using him because he’s rich and he takes care of all her bills. 

"Whatever, there’s no need in rubbing it in my face," I said, rolling my eyes. "I know I'm not important to you. Your Tina is the most important person to you. She occupies your heart," 

"I don’t care. All I know is that I won't be the one to console you when she breaks your heart," 

"I dare her!" He said angrily. "She won’t dare break my heart. I trust her and stop saying what I don’t want to hear," 

"Hey, can you stop being angry? I’m only looking out for you because you’re my best friend. I can sense she’s not in love with you. She’s only with you because you pay for her luxurious and expensive lifestyle," 

"Can you stop talking about this, Kate?" He inquired. "I’m not pleased with the way you are talking about my girl. You view her like a gold digger, which she’s not. I know you guys are not on talking terms, but I won't stay here and let you talk badly about Tina like that. You guys don’t talk, but Tina never says something bad about you. She’s always saying something nice, and she even wants to be your friend. I love only her, and I’m ready to die for her. 

I stare at him. When it comes to Tina, he’s always a completely different person. Is he blind? Why can’t he see that she isn’t good for him? She’s a gold digger. Why can’t he see that she doesn’t love him? She’s only after his money. 

"I’m sorry. I guess I talk too much. I take all the bad things I say about her back. You're right, I should not talk bad about your Tina like that," I smirked, "She isn’t a gold digger, but a perfect lover. You guys are heavenly made in heaven. You are perfect for each other," 

He smiles and utters, "Thank you, love. "What can I do without you? 

"Come off it, dude. "You can do a lot of things without me," I let out. "I’m sure you're gonna dump me as soon as Tina asks you to." 

He stares at me: "Are you jealous?" I can smell some jealousy in the air. You don’t have to worry yourself, my darling Kate. I won’t easily dump you just because she asks me to. 

"Whatever you say, We need to go and receive lectures. The teacher will soon be in the class. 

He held my hand, and we walked inside the classroom. We took our seats. I could feel a burning gaze on my body. I know who that killer gaze belongs to. It belongs to his bitchy girlfriend, Tina. Unfortunately for me, we both had the same class. My gaze went straight to where she was seated. Our eyes locked. I can see the burning rage in her eyes. It could kill. I smirk at her, which makes her get even angrier than she was before. What a slut. 

"Good morning, class," our English teacher walks in. I took my eye away from her. The teacher began to teach. I listen carefully. I don't know what's wrong with her. I can still feel the intensity of her burning gaze on my back. 

"I need to take this call," Kyle said before hurrying out of the class. The teacher has already left. 

"Hey, bitch, how many times have I warned you to stay away from my man?" Tina said. "Do I have to use force on you? 

I looked up and saw them. She was in the midst of her bitchy friends. Marina, Cassie, and Michelle. They are the school bullies. I still don’t get how he was so stupid to fall in love with this artificial doll in front of me. 

"What do you want? I still don’t get you 

. What are you talking about? 

"Are you pretending not to hear me?" She asked. "I justt warned you to stay away from my boyfriend. Do you want to die? 

I laughed so hard that tears began to fall from my eyes. She wants to kill me? 

"Can you give me a good reason why I should stay away from my best friend? We have been good friends since before he met you. I know you well, Tina. You can deceive the idiot dude, but you will never be able to deceive me," 

"Yeah, right! Bestfriend? Cassie chirped in with a scoff. "Stop the lies. We know your type. We know you want to get down with him. You’re dying to get him to fuck that smelly cunt of yours. You're dripping wet for him but hiding it in your best friend facade," 

"You mean how your friend Tina seduces Terry and gets her cunt fuck in the toilet?" I retorted. 

"What?!" Tina snaps furiously. "You know what, forget it. I don't care what you say. This will be my last warning to you, girly! Stop being friends with him. Stay away from Kyle, or else I will make you regret being his friend in the first place," 

"What are you going to do if I don't stay away from him?!" I yell. "What can you do? I won’t ever stay away from him just because you told me to. Stop kidding yourself and just get lost, bitch," 

"Are you looking for death?" She screams. "I’m going to kill you if you don’t stay away from him. Do you understand that? I'm gonna kill you, Kate!"
