Alexa's POV

My heart literally stops for some seconds when I see the Alpha stagger and fall on the floor. I had screamed so loud out of fear. I slay everyone in my path and ran toward him. Thunder rumbled loudly and rain began to pour.

“How could you?” I heard him mutter to Ace before he lays flat on the floor. I quickly knelt beside him and placed his head on my thighs.

“A…lexa,” he struggles to speak. I hurriedly press on his wound, and he lets out a shaky breath. The wound is so deep that blood oozes on my thighs. My hand trembles. Why isn't he healing?

“Shhh, don't speak,” I said to him. “Someone calls Doctor Larson,” I scream at no one in particular.

“A…lexa, Mmmm,” he groans in pain. I wipe the water from his face.

“Don't speak, Kai, you will bleed more,” I plead nervously.

He chuckles. “Y… you finally call me by my name. It feels good to hear,” he stutters.
