Lucia paced around the living room, looking out occasionally for when her mother will be approaching. Charles is still unconscious on his bed and she keeps praying he'll wake up as soon as possible before mother arrives.

She remembered how much of struggles and powers she had summoned just to drag Xander away from him away. Away from him before he would punch him to death.

And in which after successfully separating Xander from his unconscious stepfather, she had forced him to leave immediately.

She would have taken him to hospital immediately after that but the fear of how her mother will react at the cause of his state of health grips her.

She sat down on the couch and hugged her knees tightly to her chest, as she cringed in fear.
