Sianna;s POV

Tuesday night

It was a little after nine when mom came home. She hustled through the door looking tired with a handful of files in her arms. To help, I jolted over to her and took the files out of her hands and went straight to our home office to leave them on the pine desk.

When I came back to the living room I figured that she would have already made it to the master bedroom. Thinking that she was going to take a shower, I timed another half an hour before I knocked on her room door.

I opened the door and slide in with my nerves on a high. She was dressed in her olive - green silk mini night gown and was on the phone. She paused the conversation to hear what I sought her out for. “It’s your dad on the phone. What is it, baby?”

My mom was very sweet and understanding. She held a compassionate and tender tone that made it easy to talk to her. I never lack attention and loved from my parents. They supported me and allowed me to express myself.
