When the morning came, the knights arrived on the compound from their search with no one. They headed straight to the mess hall to bear the bad news to their sovereign and his upper men. They were all dirtied and worn out as they knelt in front of his table. And then instantly, their father stood, showering them with the innards of his bowl.
