I immediately pulled out my phone and called Will “Have the car pulled to the front of the house in ten minutes. Do not get out of the car. I am going to change, and then we are heading straight to Ali’s apartment.”
My mother can be so frustrating to deal with sometimes. I do not know how my father was able to handle her. She was a handful but I guess love does that to a person. I suddenly smiled to myself, when I realize that Ali is the exact same way. She genuinely is a handful sometimes, with her attitude, but I love her nonetheless. I would not want her any other way. She challenges me, and makes me laugh and smile.
Damn, I love this woman, I thought to myself with a smile.
After hanging up the phone, I quickly called my mother back.

Matthew P.O.VAfter my mother and I exited the building I told her driver to take her to my house and had will take me to mine. When we got there, I gave my mother an earful. Of course, I did not shout at her; I just listed the amount of times, she crossed the line and repeated what I would do if she pulled another stunt like this again. Ali’s P.O.VWhen we got there, everyone was all seated at their tables. Matthew pulled a chair open for Dillion and I. Dina did not need her chair pulled for her, because as soon as she saw Kyle, she almost ran to the table, to sit next to him. Zack and Kyle were sitting next to their mother. Dina P.O.VI woke up to complete darkness and was facing the wall, opposite of the window. I remembered what happened hours ago, and was so embarrassed. I am so embarrassed I wanted to dig a hole and hide forever. I was on the verge of crying, and soon after I did start to cry. Ali’s P.O.VThe fundraiser went really well and was a huge success. It was unfortunate that Dillion and Dina were not able to join but I understand. Everyone else in the even did as well. Samantha P.O.VZack had not come back down, and I had assumed he would after Dina left. When he did not come back down, I decided to go upstairs and check on him.
