“You’ve got to be kidding me.” I groaned.
“You broke the elevator.” Matthew said in an accusing tone.
“Me!?” I replied insulted.
Matthew chuckled and looked at me in an amused way.
“I’m just joking Ali. Relax.” Matthew said in assurance.
“What if no one comes to help us.” I asked in a panicked tone.
I started pressing the alarm button that is supposed to alert emergency personal and let them know the exact elevator and the location of it, but the freaking button wasn’t working. Nothing was working, and soon I just started pressing any button. Including the buttons that had the numbers on it too. Anything to get out of here.
Matthew rolled his eyes.

I hope the two boys had a good meal for dinner; if we had come home sooner, then maybe Matthew would have chosen to stay. I’ll ask him the next time I see him. I laid on my bed after being freshly showered and closed my eyes.
