"Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts"- Unknown

________________________________

Nicole and Haru were walking to the hospice because last night Haru stayed at Nicole's house. She did not go to Carmen's condo last night. They were near the hospice when Haru suddenly felt dizzy, but she just shook her head and ignored it.

"Doc, when we arrive here, he's been here and he is already lying down here on the sofa."

"Jasper, wake up your friend now!" Kian called Jasper to command him.

"Why me, Doc? That's your friend too."

When Haru and Nicole entered the hospice, they saw their colleagues surrounding the person lying on the sofa.

"I saw the trouble maker again!" Haru heard Nicole whisper next to her.

"Hey! Bro, your dad is already here!" After Jasper's shouting at his friend, the man lying on the sofa immediately stood up when he noticed that the people around him were laughing at him and Jasper. He realized that he had been fooled.

"Tsk, can you see Jasper? I'm sleeping! You're a nuisance!" He shouted at Jasper.

"Arche, do you want to go to bed? And never wake up again? Your father put you here to volunteer, to take care of the patients here. Not to sleep here in the hospice!" Doctor Kian told Arche.

"Am I the one who likes it? Just call my father because he's the one who wants to put me here. I'm not a package to put here in this worthless place." Haru didn't know why she was upset with what this man said.

Haru approached Anthony and she took the cleaning materials that Anthony was holding. Anthony was shocked when Haru grabbed his holding cleaning items. Haru quickly approached Arche, who was still lying on the sofa. She threw away the cleaning items that she was holding, which she had taken from Anthony.

"Ouch! Damn it! "

"Haru!"

Arche and Nicole shouted at it.

"What did you say?! Is this place worthless? Do you know? All the people are suffering here! Then you just say that! They are considering this as a home! You're a demon! Be thankful to God, because you don't experience what patients experience here! You're still lucky that you're not suffering and you can do what you want."

Haru said to Arche. Haru didn't get an answer from the man because it just stunned her. The colleagues of Haru bowed their heads, especially Nicole, because she knew how important this place was to Haru. So this is how Haru is upset with Arche.

Haru left in front of the comrades and went to Jared's room, but she stopped walking when she heard the old woman shouting at the two girls.

"Go away! I don’t want to see you anymore!"

"Grandma, we are your grandchildren. We want to take care of you and see you." The one girl said while the two grandchildren of the old woman were crying.

"I don't need you! Just leave here! I'm going to die now!" The old woman shouted again at her grandchildren, and she threw her grandchildren whatever they touched.

"Mom! What's going on?" Haru looked at who was screaming and there she saw doctor Kian running towards nurse Freya.

"Thank god you're here. Son, take the two grandchildren of Grandma Rosy away here. I'll take care of grandma Rosy." Nurse Freya told Doctor Kian.

Doctor Kian helps the two girls to stand up and go out their grandmother's room. Haru came to where nurse Freya was and helped her clean up the room. Freya smiled at Haru. When Haru saw it, she reciprocated with a sweet smile that she had just now shown.

"Thank you, Haru." Nurse Freya said and she left the room. Haru glanced at the old woman and slowly approached her. She fixed the blanket on it.

"I understand why you are like that with your grandchildren," Haru said, and the old woman glanced at her for a second before closing her eyes. Haru came out of the room and carefully closed the door. She walked back to where Nicole was, and here she caught up with grandmother Rosy's two grandchildren who were still crying.

"Shh... Maybe your grandma will talk to you tomorrow." Nicole told the two young girls. Haru would have approached the two children when suddenly, someone got up from lying on the sofa.

"Damn it! Won't you let me sleep here? You've been bothering me again!" Arche shouted again. Haru would have to come here to punch him, but she didn't. Because she immediately stopped when she heard what Arche said to the two girls.

"There's nothing you can do about crying. All you have to do is wait!"

"W-we just want to take care of grandma, even just that way, we can show her that we love her."

"But she drove us away from her room." Arche sat down and then spoke again.

"That's the one reason you're being kicked out of her room. Your grandmother doesn't want you to see her struggling." The two girls stopped crying because of what Arche said, and Haru smiled because of what she saw.

"Sometimes they are like that. They don’t want to see their loved ones hurt. They had better hurt themselves, not their loved ones. Your grandmother did that to you because she might not want you to see her suffer. If you are hurt every time she pushes you away, how can she feel that every time she does this to you? She feels triple pain. "

The two children seemed to feel relieved because of what Arche said. Suddenly, two children hugged Nicole and Samantha because they were near here.

"Don't get mad at your-" Arche couldn't continue what he was going to say because Nurse Freya suddenly came while panting.

"W-where is Haru?" Freya asked.

Although Haru was wondering, she still managed to ask why. Their eyes met and Haru was shocked because Nurse Freya grabbed Haru's hand and pulled her away in front of them.

"Nurse Freya, why? What is wrong? Do you have anything you need from me? " Haru asked Freya because she was wondering.

"We need to go to Jared's room right away because he wants to see you." Haru didn't know why she was suddenly nervous. She glanced behind her to see if Nicole was following them, but only Doc Kian followed behind her. When they got to Jared's room,

Haru saw Jared writhing in pain and she saw Jared's father trying to support his son. When Jared saw Haru, he tried to stand up to get near her.

"H-Haru" Jared called Haru while crying. Haru approached Jared. Jared held Haru's hands tightly as if it was the last day he could hold Haru's hand.

"H-Haru, I won't stay long. T-thank you because I saw you again." Haru cried and shook her head at what Jared said.

"H-Haru, I'm happy to see you. I'm happy to die here. Take care of yourself and don't lock yourself up in your d-dark past that you have."

"B-brother" Haru couldn't speak properly because of the tears that were constantly dripping on her face.

"If you're ready to f-find them, j-just come to my dad."

Haru could no longer see Jared's face because her eyes were already full of tears.

"We'll transfer you to a big hospital. I'm sure they'll cure you." Jared just shook his head at what Haru said.

"Arrgghhh..." Jared hugged Haru and Haru did the same here. For a while, Haru felt that Jared's hugging her was gradually loosening. Suddenly, one of Jared's hands fell.

You lied to me, Jared! You said you wouldn't die. You said you would fight your disease. You fooled me, brother Jared.

Haru said in her mind.

"No! Jared! Jared! Wake up please, you said you'll be fine if your chemotherapy continues! Wake up, brother." Haru kept crying. She tried to wake up Jared. While Jared's father was stopping Haru, Haru just continued what she was doing.

"Stop it Haru! He's gone! Jared is gone!" Jared's father said to her. Haru leaned on Jerald's chest and there she cried.

"Uncle Jerald, just tell me it's a dream, right?" Haru looked again at Jared's lifeless body and touched Jared's body.

I hope we never meet. If you leave me right away, brother Jared. I hope I will not experience the sadness that I experienced when my mom died.

Haru said it in her mind again.

"Jared, it's not the time to fool me. Let's go outside, wake up. You need to go outside and see the sun." Haru seemed crazy that she was talking to a lifeless person.

"Haru, stop it!" Jerald tries to stop Haru from doing what she's doing again.

"B-brother Jared, please wake up. Let's go outside. You said we are going to travel around the world, right? Please wake up." Haru said while crying

"Haru! Haru! Jared is gone!"

"No, Uncle Jerald, Jared is sleeping. I had to wake him up because he needed fresh air outside to recover him quickly." Haru said.

"Doc Kian," Jerald called the doctor, and Haru felt someone holding her arm and pulling her away from Jared's body. Kian helped Haru out of the room while nurse Freya and Haru looked at each other and Haru saw that Freya's eyes were full of sadness.

Haru stared far away while walking. When they arrived at Haru's colleagues, they just kept quiet when they saw doc Kian was coming.

"Haru? What happened to Haru, Doc?" Nicole asked doctor Kian when he was going to answer Nicole's question, but Haru suddenly spoke.

"Doc, I wanted to be alone," Haru said, while she didn't look at her colleagues.

Kian was hesitant to let go of Haru's hand, but he let go of her hand. Haru was quietly walking away while Arche was looking at her.

Lord, why? Why are you taking everything that I have? I am tired! I'm very tired! When will you let me be happy?

She said in her mind as she walked away in tears that she was falling.

On the day Haru was buried, he did not come out of his apartment, so his father decided to take him to his house. "How is he, Sir Arnold?" Jayson asked Arnold, along with Nicole, Nikki, and Jasper. "Still the same." The three of them just breathed because of what Arnold said. "Where is the key to his room?" Nicole suddenly asked, and Arnold took it from where it was placed and handed it to Nicole. Nicole got up and went to Arche's room while Jayson, Jasper, Nikki, and Arnold just followed her.
