Chapter Fifteen

The weekend passed in a blur, and Elena could not decipher what she had used it to do. Apart from doing her assignment and helping out her mum, visiting Silver and asking her not to talk to Matthew for a while.

“Why?” Silver had asked.

“Nothing. He wants to focus on Sarah right now, and it won’t be right for us to keep on interrupting their time and their love life. It’s his first. Let’s give him the space.” She replied.

Monday was here now, with no one to come to pick her up. She had to wait for her mother because she didn’t want to take the bus.
