Tanner sat nervously opposite his parents as they had dinner. But he couldn't even hear a word they were saying.

All that ran through his mind was what had happened earlier in the shower.

Usually Rovak looked unapproachable but back then in the shower, his face had looked so entrancing. Oh goddess what was wrong with him?

"Tan sweetie, are you okay?" Luna Eve asked her son.

"I am fine mom."

She reached out to hold his hand. "I am so proud of you for winning that award last night"

"Yes, I have something to brag about to Perez the next time I see him"

"Stop that honey. This win is for our son. Not your stupid rivalry with Alpha Perez"

She looked at her son again, "sweetie, with your award, companies will reach out to you for sponsorships. We have to be prepared for business. But don't worry, I will help you"

"Thanks mom" Tanner replied. He idly wondered if Rovak had anyone to help him with this stuff.

"That Perez's kid is just like his father. You have to keep up the pace son and keep on beating him. Make sure you are always on top of him"

Tanner choked on the his glass of wine.

"are you okay son?"

"hmmm" Tanner replied.

....

Their teams were playing against each other again.

The atmosphere in the arena was tense.

As Rovak stepped onto the ice, his eyes immediately found Tanner.

He was looking everywhere except at him.

Rovak frowned.

Was he avoiding him.

The referee dropped the puck.

The game began.

....

The game was intense.

Both teams fought fiercely.

Whenever Rovak got the puck, Tanner was there to challenge him.

Whenever Tanner got the puck, Rovak chased after him.

The crowd roared as the two of them repeatedly clashed.

At one point, Tanner glanced at him and quickly looked away.

Rovak nearly missed the puck because of it.

What was wrong with him?

....

By the final minutes, the score was tied.

The entire arena was on edge.

The puck slid across the ice.

Rovak reached it first.

Tanner immediately moved to stop him.

The two raced across the rink.

Rovak dodged him at the last second.

The goalkeeper rushed forward.

Rovak swung his stick.

GOAL!

The crowd exploded into cheers.

The Delta Eagles had won.

His teammates immediately swarmed him.

....

As the players lined up to shake hands, Rovak stopped in front of Tanner.

Tanner shook his hand quickly.

His ears were slightly red.

"We need to talk" Rovak told him.

"I uh...uh" Tanner stammered.

"what's your room number at the hotel?" Rovak asked.

"I.." Tanner stuttered.

"Hey, be fast" Rovak urged.

"2202"

"see you later"

Tanner left quickly in a huff.

...

Tanner stared at himself in the mirror. What was he doing? Why had he given Rovak his room number.

What was he even supposed to wear.

He looked through his small carry on bag, he only had his uniform and his work out clothes. His cheeks flushed as he remembered what had happened in the gym shower.

There was a knock on his door, he hurriedly took put on the work out clothes.

He opened the door to see Rovak outside the door.

"can I come in?" he asked.

"s...sure come in" he answered.

He stepped back and allowed Rovak to come in.

"Hey" he said.

"Are you going to offer me a drink Vergara?" Rovak asked.

"Sure, I will get you a drink" Tanner poured him a glass of whiskey.

"No Wolfgang?" Rovak asked.

"I don't keep that stuff"

"Okay, I will manage the whiskey, next time have Wolfgang" Rovak replied.

'Next time' Tanner wondered.

"so, what did you want to talk to me about?" Tanner asked.

Rovak smiled and stepped closer. "You are quite interesting preppy boy"

"Why do you keep calling me a preppy boy?"

"The first time I saw you, it was at an Alpha meeting, you were just back from your private school. You were wearing shorts with a matching jacket, a buttoned up shirt, a tie. You looked so preppy"

"What did you want to talk to me about?"

Rovak stepped closer. "do you really want to talk?"

"I do"

"Did you give me your room number because you just wanted to talk"

Tanner's throat went dry. Rovak was so close, he couldn't think straight.

"Perez..." he whispered.

"Kneel down preppy boy" Rovak told him.

Tanner went on his knees, his eye at the same level as Rovak's waist.

Rovak pulled his sweatpants down and his dick was facing Tanner.

"You can touch it" Rovak urged.

Tanner reached out and held it, stroking it gently. Rovak closed his eyes and shuddered.

"Just like that Vergara, just like that, don't stop"

When Tanner reached out curiously with his tongue. Rovak clutched his brown hair.

Tanner took everything in his mouth. Rovak groaned encouragingly.

With a loud groan, he pulled out and came into his hand.

Tanner stood up, looking everywhere else but at Rovak.

"so that was good, I should be on my way" Rovak pulled up his sweatpants.

Tanner looked at him, in a open mouth. He didn't know what he was expecting, but it wasn't this.

Rovak laughed and tilted up his chin. "just kidding Vergara. Now, I will show you how to do it properly"

Tanner watched in bated breath as Rovak went on his knees.

When Rovak pulled his shorts down, spit on his palm and took him in his hand. He growled, it felt so good.

When Rovak looked up at him, Tanner flushed. Rovak smiled and then leaned in to take him into his mouth.

"Oh fuck" Tanner tilted his head back and groaned.

It felt so good. He had never felt this good before.

"Perez, I am going to....you should..." he tried to pull away.

But Rovak held him tightly. With a loud groan, he came into his mouth.

Rovak took it all and swallowed everything. He stood up and wiped his mouth.

"I am so sorry, I tried to pull away" Tanner apologized.

"It's okay preppy boy, I like to swallow" Rovak said with a teasing smile.

"I should be on my way, see you around Perez"

"Sure...sure, see you" Tanner was still dazed. Rovak chuckled and left the room silently.

It was after he left that Tanner realized that they hadn't talked about anything.

He went into the shower and groaned. Oh goddess! What the hell was he doing? With Rovak of all people. He was going to be the next alpha of the pack. He couldn't do this, right? He was supposed to mate with a female werewolf, get heirs and rule his pack. Getting on his knees for Rovak wasn't what he was supposed to do.

He tilted his head. But oh, Rovak had been way too good when he went on his knees.

He was so screwed.

Tanner wandered around the pack house while waiting for Rovak. He wondered how Rovak had grown up here and what his childhood had been like. As he walked down the hallway, he noticed a door that was slightly open. He pushed it open and looked inside. The room looked like a storage room. Tanner looked around and noticed a dusty photo album sitting on a table. He picked it up and opened it. The first pictures were of Rovak and River when they were babies. Tanner smiled when he saw River. He looked so innocent back then. "At least you didn't look so annoying when you were a baby," Tanner muttered. He turned the page and saw more pictures of Rovak. He smiled when he saw how cute Rovak had been as a child. He continued flipping through the album until he saw pictures of Luna Eve, Rovak's late mother. Tanner paused for a moment. She looked beautiful and happy in the pictures. But then the pictures suddenly stopped. There were no more recent pictures. Tann

It was past midnight when Rovak knocked gently on Tanner's door. Tanner opened the door and looked at him hesitantly. "Are you sure about this?" Rovak nodded. "We need to find out what is in that photo album." Tanner sighed. "I still don't think sneaking into your father's study is a good idea." "It will be worth it," Rovak assured him. Tanner looked at him for a moment before finally nodding. "Okay." They quietly left the room and made their way down the hallway. They tiptoed carefully, making sure not to make any noise. When they reached Alpha Perez's study, Rovak slowly opened the door. He walked over to the table and began opening the drawers one after another. Tanner stood near the door, keeping watch. "Anything?" Tanner whispered. "Not yet." Rovak opened another drawer. Nothing. He opened the next one. Nothing again. Finally, he opened the last drawer. His eyes widened. "I found it." Tanner quickly walked over. Rovak pulled out the old photo album and p

The next morning, Tanner had arrived at Crescent moon pack. He knocked on the door of the pack house anxiously. He could have simply messaged Rovak to come let him in, but this was a official visit and he had to go through the right processes. The door was opened by a woman, he recognized her, it was River's mate. "Hey, I am Tanner Vergara. I am here to report to Alpha Perez" he introduced himself. She looked at him and gave a small smile, "please come in, I am Melanie. Alpha Perez is expecting you" she told him. "Uhm... What about Rovak?" he asked. "Oh... He went on a run" she replied. Tanner nodded and followed her to Alpha's Perez study. Tanner was a bit nervous, this was Rovak's father and most especially he was his father's enemy and rival. He didn't know what to expect and how Alpha Perez would treat him. Alpha Perez was sitting behind the table when Tanner walked in. "Good morning sir" he gave a small bow.
