"I've encountered the mother of the boy once and I feel like she doesn't look the type to leave her son to people like this…." Bryce wasn't entirely sure, so he wasn't trying to be definite.
Alex stepped into the boy's room, because he was still feeling guilty and was stunned to see the AC at its coolest.

"Who are you?" She asked and Bryce introduced himself.

Bryce was adding up a few things in his head, based on the explanation.
"I watched my friend grow weird everyday, yet I couldn't say anything, because I would be the same if I was in her shoes.I just wanted to be there for her. I want to protect the both of them the little way I could.
"Wow! That's insane." Amelia frowned hard.
