Chapter 195 : Crush

I wash Chrisanna's hands and come out of the washroom, carrying her.

"Paa, who's that grumpy kid you were talking about?" She asks curiously.

I didn't have an answer ready for her so I roll my eyes, clearing my throat. There's no way I can tell her that Samuel is Emily's son. She's gonna have a lot of questions and I don't have simple answers to them.

"He's just a kid", I say. "My colleague's son"

"Oh!" She looks around. "I'm not getting any more syri, am I?" She asks.

"No", I smile at her, walking back to the reception.

Samuel is sitting in the lounge, hanging his head as usual. It's hard to see a kid not smiling at all. At least, I have never seen him smiling around. The caretakers say he's silent most of the time. Either he's silent, or he's violent. There's no in-between.

It took me enough time to make him speak and convince him to come over here. I take Chrisanna towards the lounge and plop her on the couch beside him.
