Samuel gives her a death stare.

"Alright! We should focus on the movie now, I guess", I say, dragging Samuel to the couch to my other side.

As I resume the video, Annalyn comes over there.

"Good morning!" She greets me with a huge smile, then looks at Chrisanna. "So glad to see you again, Chrisanna. How are you?"

"I'm good", Chrissie smiles.

"Well, is Dr Michael already here?" I ask.

"Yeah. Actually, he sent me to call you. Before the checkup, he wants to talk to you", she says.

"Okay", I look at both sides. "But these two are alone over here. Can you watch them over until I come back?"

She hesitantly shrugs. "Um— sorry, Mr Scott. I'm on shift and I have to report to a patient's room right now"

I look down at them hesitantly.

"I'm not going anywhere", Samuel says. "I'll wait"

His voice is much more relaxed and sincere now.

"Okay. But still—" my eyes go to Chrissie.

"If she doesn't annoy me, I can watch over her too", he says, throwing her an as-usual grumpy look.
