Chapter 33 I You Can Ask Blake Hagen

On the second day after Hagen was absent, Camellia was surprised to see Brandon sitting on the sofa.

Her footsteps abruptly came to a halt as she descended the stairs, and she looked around, hoping Hagen would appear out of nowhere. However, after looking at Brandon, who seemed to be sitting alone on the sofa, Camellia was disappointed that Hagen must not be there.

She didn’t believe he’d left her alone in his apartment. That means it’s been five days since she’s been in that place.

“Are you coming alone?” asked Camellia as soon as she approached the couch where Brandon was sitting pensively staring out the window.

Instantly, Brandon’s head turned towards her and, with a faint smile, he answered.

“Why? Are you bored, Miss Duncan?”

Camellia wanted to roll her eyes, but she restrained herself and took the chair opposite the man.

“Can’t you tell him to stop treating me like a prisoner?”

Brandon’s eyebrows rose close to his forehead when he heard that.

“He is not locking you up,” Brandon
