Chapter 21 I Kidnapped

The murmurs of conversation awakened Camellia.

Gradually her eyes opened, and with a head that felt a little heavy, she also cast her gaze around.

Camellia blinked her eyelids a few times to clear the still-fired vision, and that’s when she saw right in front of her a man sitting on a chair with a burger in his grasp.

She observed the stranger, who was in his forties and ate silently. He did not once look at Camellia, who was now lying on the cold floor. Meanwhile, a television can be seen on the wall facing them.

For a moment, Camellia gathered her consciousness, staring around intently at the dull walls and unkempt roof. She also realized that her body was on the dirty floor, which stopped her from screaming in disgust.

Then, Camellia’s attention was distracted by the man in front of her.

Instantly she feels thirsty, and then she can feel her throat and lips dry.

When the man sipped a drink from the bottle that was on the table, the thirst that chastised her was excruciating.
