Marian took a look at the contract, and a charming smile flashed in her eyes.

Christian treated her very seriously. This authorization agreement was made overnight, but every clause was ultra-specific. Christian learned a few things from his dad with his last will and testament.

She understood that her inheritance will go to the Su family as a whole and whatever is done to it will be decided by the family.

Christian became a little impatient as he watched her flip through the pages.

He didn\'t think Marian could understand these terms. He heard that she didn\'t even read a book while she was living in the countryside.

\"Okay, Marian, you don\'t need to read it, just sign it. From now on, I\'ll give you a hundred thousand yuan every month. I\'ll give you a proper room and you don\'t have to go back to the countryside. Do we have a deal?\"

The five hundred million alongside the properties actually totaled out to a billion yuan. Marian felt disappointed on the inside, a hundred thousand a month? She wasn\'t that dumb.

She put the contract back on the table, with a strange smile on her face, she slowly looked over at Christian.

She lifted her lips slightly, and spat out two cold words, \"No deal!\"

Christian instantly changed to an angry expression, his two thick eyebrows were so furrowed up they almost started touching each other.

He had been a businessman for almost forty years now. He was determined to get that inheritance even after his own successes and failures.

He forced himself to calm down, and he tried to talk to Marian in a calm manner. Surely, Marian would cooperate if he was reasonable. \"Marian, I\'m just doing this for the sake of the family. The Su family is your grandfather\'s hard work, I cannot allow that to crumble away.\"

Marian took out a piece of paper that was folded up in her pocket. She spread the paper out and slammed it on the table.

Christian took a look and almost fainted because of the words \'Inheritance Law\' was written on the piece of A4 paper.

After Christian finished reading it, Marian thoroughly explained it to them.

\"I have reached the legal age. I have the right to inherit and control property under my name. I don\'t need a guardian and I don\'t need to authorize others.\"

Christian was caught off guard by Marian. He didn\'t expect that she had checked the inheritance law.

Is there a high school in the countryside? How does she know this?

Sheryl couldn\'t sit still, she saw her husband was losing ground.

She didn\'t have the composure of Christian. She still thought Marian owed her life to her. She stood up and pointed her finger towards her.

\"I don\'t care if you are a cursed child! I gave birth to you and we are still your family. Now sign this authorization agreement before I disown you!\"

Charlie\'s voice followed his mother\'s lead, \"If you don\'t sign it we\'ll kick you out!\"

Marian\'s eyes slowly swept over to Sheryl. She already knew everything about her.

The Ye family name was anything but noble, but she was still able to marry Christian with just her beauty.

After giving birth to four children for the Su family, she stabilized her position and later became the first lady of the family.

Everyone knew her as the gentle mother, but Marian knew the truth about her. Sheryl\'s eyes looked at her as if she was less than an insect. It was ridiculous.

It had been so long since she was called a cursed child. She could barely remember the last time she was called by that title, she barely remembered why she was deemed cursed in the first place.
