“What development?” Elena asked.

“Someone with the same goal as us contacted me.”

“What?” Elena raised a brow. “What do you mean?”

“I don’t know. He wants to stay anonymous till the day we meet.” Rex said, frustration evident in his voice.

“Does that make sense? Do you want to meet up with some stranger? Because of what?” Elena asked with a sarcastic look.
