The first thing I registered around me wasn’t a sound or sight. It was the smell. A sharp, biting smell of bleach and the underlying metallic scent that only lies in hospitals. It felt cold in my nostrils, scratching at the back of my throat.

I tried to pull in a deep breath, but my lungs felt like iron bands were squeezing them. Memory hit me like a physical blow, rushing to my head like flashes. The crash, the dagger pressed against my neck, the threats, and then Leon’s arrival.

“Noel,” I screamed my son’s name and tried to jerk up, but a white-hot flash of pain exploded behind my eyes, pinning me back against the pillows.

My heart pounded hard against my chest, and the rapid beep-beep-beep of a monitor nearby made it clear that I was indeed in a hospital.

Leon must have brought me here, I thought.

“Noel,” I muttered my son’s name and fluttered my eyes open to a dimly lit room.

  • My Baby Daddy wants me for Christmas    The Royal Bloodline

LeonThe sun hadn’t even begun to rise when I stepped out of the black SUV in front of the royal mansion.I had left Noel in Elara's care until Aurora woke up. When I arrived at the royal mansion, I didn’t bother changing my clothes because I wanted my father to see the blood. I wanted him to smell the burnt rubber and silver that had almost taken my mate’s life. My father knows what it means to have a mate you want to protect for life, which is why he and my mother stayed together for a long time in love. Two guards met me at the entrance of the front door and took me to my father’s study. I didn’t knock; I just kicked the double doors open and entered the room. The room was dim, lit only by the fireplace and a single lamp on the desk.My father sat behind the massive slab of oak, a glass of amber liquid in his hand. My mother stood by the window staring outside. They both turned as I walked in.“Leon,” my mother gasped as she sniffed the air, her hands flying to her throat as she

Leon“Mommy is going to wake up soon,” I muttered to Noel as he slept peacefully on my shoulder. My large hand covered nearly his entire chest, feeling the small thrum of a heart that didn’t know that a moment ago, his mother was rushing to protect him.I sat on the couch of the VIP suite of the royal hospital, my ruined gala suit stiff with dried blood, and stared at Aurora sleeping on the bed. When she had fainted in my arms, I hadn't thought of anything other than rushing her to the hospital. I hadn't waited for an ambulance; I couldn’t.Every second Aurora spent bleeding was unbearable to see. I had scooped her up, her body terrifyingly limp in my arms, and tucked her into the back of my SUV. I drove like a man possessed. I ignored the red lights. All of that didn’t matter because I was determined to save Aurora.“Stay with me, Aurora,” I growled as I stared at her through the rearview mirror. When I pulled into the emergency bay of the Royal Hospital, I didn’t wait for the vale

  • My Baby Daddy wants me for Christmas    Nineteen Days of Mercy

LeonDecember 6, 2025It was past midnight, and yet there was no sign of her. I had driven through the night looking for where she could have gone, but there was no sign of her until Tristan and Rina called.“We found her, Your Highness,” Tristan announced through the phone. “I have a visual, Your Highness.”“Tell me.”“Rina tracked the taxi’s internal GPS, and they veered off the main road as if they were heading to the docks. Also, impact sensors just went off—they've been in a crash.”Crash? I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but I hoped that she was fine and that nothing had happened to Aurora.“Tell me the coordinates now,” I growled, my hand clamped so hard on the steering wheel that the leather was beginning to tear.“Sending them to you. Be careful, we've identified the driver. He’s a rogue Beta.”I didn't reply because I didn't need to. Rhaziel was roaring in my skull over and over again. He didn't want to be careful; he wanted blood from those who had hurt our mate.Once

  • My Baby Daddy wants me for Christmas    The Crash

AuroraHearing him say that made my blood boil. There was no one I could think of who wanted me dead.I clenched my fists tightly. I didn’t think, and I didn’t plan as I lunged forward, throwing my body over the seat. I didn’t care about the partition or the danger and stretched forth my hand for the steering wheel, my fingers clawing at his hands."What are you doing? Let go!" the driver yelled, trying to shove me back with one arm while keeping the car on the road with the other."Stop the car!" I screamed, digging my nails into his skin. I yanked the wheel hard to the left."Are you crazy!" the driver shouted as the taxi fishtailed violently. He slammed on the brakes, but it was too late—we were carrying too much speed. The car spun in a dizzying circle, the scent of burning rubber filling the cabin."You are going to kill us both," the driver roared, struggling to regain control."Better dead than leaving my son with you!" I shrieked, giving the wheel one final, desperate pull.T
