“Do you two know each other?” Rhea asked, looking between Richard and me with a suspicious look in her eyes.

I couldn't believe the bastard was actually here. He was like a stray cat following me around, looking for food and I was covered in tuna.

“No, we don't,” I replied before he could, my eyes boring into his, daring him to say otherwise. His lips thinned in disapproval but he said nothing, just stared at me with an impassive expression.
