She staggered, trying to keep her posture as she passed the customers. She held the whiskey bottle tightly, some of the girls stared at her holding back their laughter, no one there wanted her to do well, she made everyone jealous of her for having a show all her own, the desire was only to put her foot in front of her and watch her fall and make everyone laugh at how pathetic she would look.

Luz made her way down the hall to the service entrance, opened the door, and stumbled on the only step she had when she tried to get down, yet she kept her balance and kept walking.

"Ah! Mom..." She mumbled leaning against a wall letting tears escape as the once-hidden security guard now headed towards her silently to catch her." I've been so stressed out because I can't help you the way I wanted to..." She whispered as if talking to her mother, she hadn't noticed the man until she looked at the reflection in the bottle against her face." You really are a good friend!" She announced to the bottle, giving it a kiss, then throwing it against the man's head, who was caught off guard, falling to the ground.

Without hesitating, she ran as fast as she could in her platform heels, and as soon as she left the alley she pulled them off and kept running until she realized that no one was following her.

She was exhausted on a deserted street, there were few cars passing by at that hour, and she had no idea how she would get a cab.

As if the problem she had left behind wasn't enough, her head seemed not to be working, even more so when she saw the Japanese restaurant still open, and at the same time she saw a wheelchair user coming out of it, following her to the traffic light.

"Looks like I can eat Japanese food now." He commented looking inside his cleavage searching for some saved dollars, as he searched he also watched the wheelchair user waiting for the red light." What a jerk, can't you see it's empty..." She muttered in a slurred voice, as soon as the red light closed the man turned on his chair and proceeded with the intention of getting to the other side, but everything changed when she saw a car approaching at high speed to meet Leon.

Her lucidity returned in spontaneous, she knew there would be no time to escape at that speed, she ran as fast as she could.

She managed to push the chair, taking the wheelchair out of the way of the assassin, but both ended up crashing into a step and the chair overturned, taking them both to the ground.

"You miserable, inconsequential bastard!" He shouted sitting down on the grass with difficulty, brushing the excess hair off his face to observe the offending car. "Ah, what an idiot, look! He stopped the car..." She was speechless when she saw the car coming back, she was still holding on to her heels, which she hadn't let go of even to save the man.

She thought he would come to help, until she saw the man's appearance with his face hidden by a mask and his gloved hands holding a pistol, she almost had a heart attack when he pointed the gun at her,

"But I'm not going to die anyway!" He bellowed throwing his shoe deliberately." Please, my holy virgin, hit it!" She made her prayer running over the words.

She managed to hit the face of the man who became even angrier and tried to shoot her, but before he could some security guards appeared and deferred shots in his direction and in his car, but he managed to escape.

As soon as the light saw the security guards approaching she got up and ran out after they all ran past her to help the wheelchair user.

"Are you okay, sir?" One of the security guards asked, helping him sit back in his chair.

"I'm fine." He replied grumpily.

"Could you tell who it was?" one of the security guards asked.

"No.

"In a week that you have been here, that was the first attempt and they came so close. Comments his security guard and trusted friend.

"If it wasn't for the young lady, they wouldn't have saved me in time." He commented looking for the girl, until one of the security guards collected her belongings finding her identity as well." So your name is Luz Alessandra" he commented looking at her picture" and it seems that today you were my light at the end of the tunnel." He commented smiling.

"The car is ready sir.

"Ok, let's get out of here, have this bombing investigated, I would like to know which relative it was this time that tried to kill me." He ordered seriously.

Luz had just saved the billionaire Leonardo Fischer, nicknamed Leon, who had returned to London a week ago after ten years of running his father's business from a distance in the United States.

His return was necessary after his father had been murdered by his maternal relatives, the Hatawhay, who, despite their dependence on the Fischer money, insisted on trying to kill them just to take their inheritance.

Leon, now had only his brother as a close relative. The Hatawhay family became greedy and interested in the Fischer money.

After the death of Leon's mother, they were left with nothing, yet Leon's father Leo gave them a life of luxury and sophistication with even a mansion in the noblest part of London.

It is in this luxurious mansion that all the members of his dead mother's family live, and none of them is a flower to be smelled. They are very dangerous and capable of anything, but are nothing more than pawns manipulated by old Dercy, Leon's grandfather.

Leo to protect his sons had secretly sent them away to protect the hatawhay family after they tried to kill his own grandson Leon, who ended up losing the movement of his legs and was condemned to live in a wheelchair.

His younger brother had been involved in the mafia and was even sotocapo, and all they know is that he had been killed in the mafia, but the reality was quite different, Leon was the only one who didn't believe in his brother's death, then managed to find out that he was alive.

...

Luz Alessandra after running away from that mess kept going on aimlessly until she managed to catch a cab, with the few dollars she had she managed to pay the cab and get home ready for another mess with her roommate.

"What the fuck happened to you?" Asked kenny incredulously sitting on the couch under the covers with Maicom, her slacker boyfriend who spends more time in the light apartment than the light itself.

"It doesn't bother me, Kenny." He mumbled staggering up to his room.

"Did someone attack you?" She continued to ask worriedly, Luz hadn't even noticed that her hair was all messed up, lipstick smeared, bruises on her legs after the tumble in the chair, and not to mention that she arrived home empty handed.

"I said no!

"Bullshit! Look at your condition, what happened to you?" The friend continued to insist.

Kenny was a wasteful, daughter of a rich family, She had everything until she got her gigolo boyfriend who Luz didn't even realize was another sucker just like Kenny, not that she didn't help, but she sucked more than she helped, no longer helping her pay her rent for three months.

"i don't want to tell!" she vociferates angrily.

"you don't come in this room until you open your mouth!" she squirms getting up from the couch barring the passage of light.

"Okay!" she brads impatiently, her eyes narrowed. "My mother is being treated in Brazil, today I looked for trouble, supposedly with the owner of the place who seems to be a mafioso, ah! I'm screwed! She lamented." So Marcone was forced to fire me. I took a drink that I believe cost six thousand dollars, I broke into the head of the security guard of a mobster who wanted to kidnap me, I ran, and found a wheelchair user and saved him from being run over, I fell miserably over the chair, I even ate grass in the fall... and to make matters worse the guy comes out with a gun and tries to kill us both, what do you think? Are you satisfied?" she whimpers wearily.

"What a dog's day, it's like a series of misadventures," comments kenny skeptically.

"I'm glad I didn't hurt my face, it's my livelihood, because your friend isn't even good enough to get a decent job, and to make matters worse the guy came out with a gun, almost killed us both. I threw my thousand dollar shoe in his face, and I was going to sell it to send money to my mother..." She started to cry deliberately, Kenny hugs her remorsefully.

"Oh! My friend, what a bad day, eat something, I made kimchi earlier today." He counted leading her into the kitchen.

"Yeah? I wanted kimchi, that's where that man came from, my favorite restaurant, which I now want to spend well away from." she squirms slamming the door to her room as she enters, all she wanted now was to relax.

Leon was already in his mansion, stuck in his office waiting for Scooby, the one man he trusts for everything he needs, besides being his friend and right hand man.

"Find the girl, all the information I need from her." He ordered as soon as he entered the room, handing him her ID.

"Yes, sir!" He agreed, taking the ID the same second he left.

The next day Alessandra got up feeling as if a truck had passed over her head and only got worse when she left her room and her bare feet touched the packages that kenny and her boyfriend accumulated on the floor of the room, but remained calm not to worsen the situation even if she always tried to keep the house clean her friend with twenty years old never cooperated.

Then silently she took all the cleaning materials she needed and tidied up after herself, bringing some classifieds of job openings to start looking for a new job, she spent the whole morning until the afternoon without moving from the place, stuck to the newspapers and notebook looking for a job.

"Are you still there looking for a job?" Kenny asked, seeing the dark circles under her friend's eyes as she is leaning over stacks of newspapers circling ads with marker and calling each one.

"The bills aren't going to pay themselves and this time I want to quit this stripper life." He yawned as Kenny put a cup of coffee and an envelope on the table.

"What is that envelope?

"This month's rent, but it's all I have, just this once I've decided to fix it since I haven't cooperated in a few months.

"You know I'm not going to be a stickler for that envelope, right?

"I know..." she replied despondently.

"We can find a simpler place to live and reduce costs, what do you think?

"Jeez! The woman loses her job three days ago and already wants to take me to the gutter." he grumbled in disgust.

"Then dump your slipper-footed boyfriend and go back to your mansion! You're rich, you don't have to put up with this because of a man who can't even meet your needs, or else you'll have to live somewhere simpler.

"I'll go with you wherever you want! She hugged her friend, smothering her; after all, the girl was blinded by love for her boyfriend.

In the midst of trying to get rid of her friend's embrace, she hears her cell phone ring and when she answers it realizes it's her former nightclub owner.
