27 Fight for her love

It was half past noon when Monica and Julien had their lunch. It was the first ever lunch Monica made for Julien. Julien kept receiving calls from his office as Monica took turns to refill his wine glass the more he talked the more he felt thirsty for wine or even water. Monica was out of the lunch as she remembered the emotional words she shared with Janice at her office and the offer she declined was rude of her.

Julien sank down in the chair in front of Monica. "What's all about the spacing out?" Julien asked, finally getting off his phone calls. Monica jerked her head up to look in the direction of the door. Her fingers flicked each and every time she felt nervous.
