Chapter Twenty Two

It was winter. Five days more and it would be Christmas.

Schools were already closed and the holiday vacation had begun for all schools, including Geneva's current university.

It had been three months already since Mrs.Walsh and her accomplices had been arrested and charged to court for a trial.

Detective Hubert had sincerely thanked and apologized to Geneva for not believing in her true intentions. Geneva had let him know that she was the one truly grateful for his help as it meant a lot to her.

The detective left, silently wondering how much that long stroll must mean to the young, slightly crazy but loveable lady.

Mr.Thomas Murray had indeed spent an intimate night of passion with Mrs.Walsh, after one of his drinking escapades.

Mrs.Walsh had been an unmarried, naive young lady then and after discovering she was pregnant, had tried to contact Mr.Thomas but she had meant nothing to him in the first place, so she couldn't get through to him. Then, she tried to flush down the baby
