I had maintained contact with Reid though I haven’t seen him since my kidnapping day. He told me he’s currently out of town on a business and might be until the weekend till he’s back. As soon as work is over, he’s usually the first to call me and we end chatting, teasing and laughing until I get home.

I know it’s just a way of securing my safety while keeping up with my energy but I don’t comment on it, and for my parents, two days could not come fast enough.

Their flight’s by two pm so I leave work by twelve, chatting with Reid as Benjamin drives me home. I told him about the random free tickets to Fiji Island and he was just as unsure about it as I was but ended up meeting me in the middle that nothing could possibly go wrong as long as they are real tickets, we had them confirmed surely after the duo’s burst of happiness.
