Chapter 47: Relieve

Kevin was stunned. He didn’t know what to say, but nodded and smiled anyway.

He knew that she hurt herself by saying those words.

And that hurt him even more knowing that she knew what would happen to him, to them, once they found the truth.

The day passed another hour and Ria ready to go home.

She hook her arm around Kevin’s and didn’t care about what other people think when they saw her.

They might saw her as a crazy young lady walking alone from the grave yard.

That could be a pity scene or the sad one.

“When I heard Thomas earlier, I thought about something.” She said while walking along the road with him.

“What is it?”

“About my parents. Now that I think about it, I felt relieved too. They could be still alive back then but may be in the worst condition because of the accident. I can’t imagine them in pain for the rest of their live.” She told him.

“Was the accident that bad?” Kevin asked.

“Yes. Their car was found under the cliff, upside down.” She inhaled deeply, “The
