Business Meeting between Packs

"Princess, you are really very beautiful. It can be said that of all the Alpha Princesses and Queens in this world, you are the most beautiful Princess." One of the servants complimented me, I just smiled faintly. I was confused about what to say now.

After the other servant managed to pull the ribbon behind my dress, I walked towards the balcony of the room. There I saw my two brothers standing together with some Kings from some other pack. Maybe. I wasn’t sure. I didn’t really know either.

"What are Alden and Aldan doing?”

"Oh, King Aldan and King Alden are entertaining some royal guests from another pack, Princess. They are having an annual meeting where they are discussing the issue of which lands to trade.”

My chest felt so painful again when I heard that, immediately everything about Daven came back to mind. The land sale and purchase agreement should have been done as Aldan and Alden did, but Daven? He sold me in such a very disgusting way. And for some reason my heart planted a grudge, I really wanted to avenge all the hurt for this betrayal and harassment on him, and now I had decided that my love was dead for him, Daven Chan, whom I will never forgive.

“When do you think the meeting will end?”

“Usually the meeting will end with a big party, Princess. Moreover, now that you are here, King Aldan and King Alden have told us that at the end of this meeting, the party will be much more magnificent and lively because the party will welcome and introduce you to the Alpha Kings throughout the world."

I heard this yesterday, then I lowered my face. Even though I felt that the feeling of tightness was now getting stronger, I wanted to forget everything.

“Okay, thank you very much.” I said in the end. I decided to immediately go outside because I wanted to enjoy the fresh air.

I sat on one of the benches in the park, I could see much more clearly here. Several of the Kings seemed to be talking to each other quite seriously. One of them there was a quite mysterious figure, a figure who had previously chosen to remain silent and tended to stay aside compared to the other Kings.

“Who is that Alpha King?” I asked the servant who was told to accompany me.

“Oh, he is King Jackob Arkhan, Princess. It could be said that King Jackob Arkhan is the second strongest king in the world after King Alden and King Aldan. His land holdings became the most extensive, with wealth and captive packs even stretching from all corners of the world. So he was feared by the other Alpha Kings, and was known as the cold-blooded Alpha King.”

Immediately the hairs on the back of my neck tingled completely when I heard that, Cold-blooded King was a truly terrifying term. I can imagine how many werewolf lives he had destroyed.

"Princess, King Aldan said that you must check your health again with the palace physician who has been ordered."

I was quiet again, even now I had to check my health again. My brothers really cared for me, didn’t they?

I nodded, obeying everything the servant said. Now my life had been ruled by my brothers. Therefore I had no reason to disobey, let alone argue.

"Princess, the dress prepared by King Alden is finished, please try it on so we can find out which parts need to be altered." The other servant spoke again.

"Princess, the pair of shoes ordered by King Alden has arrived, please try them on to see whether they fit you or not."

I was like a Cinderella who was really considered a princess in a palace, even though this was a real thing. Still, this sudden change in my life was enough to make me feel that maybe I was having a sweet dream, and if it was true that I was dreaming then I would never want to wake up at all.

And the day of the party came. All the servants in the palace were very busy preparing the dishes, preparing the decorations and place, and busy helping me getting ready. They wanted to make me the most beautiful woman on earth, and that made me surrender too.

"Everything is perfect. The most enjoyable thing to see is the Princess finally attend the party tonight."

I just smiled. Not long after, Alden and Aldan came. They were ready with their clothes, the red king's clothes with robes that flowed so gently.

I saw that my two brothers were very handsome Kings, then I smiled and welcomed their hugs.

“Look at our princess, how beautiful you are now. You are … perfect, Rose.” Aldan praised me.

I smiled again, then lowered my face deeply.

“Rose, stop blushing like that. Later, in front of the many Kings and Queens who are here, you must continue to puff out your chest and lift your chin like this. Never look down, because looking down is a taboo that you shouldn’t do."

“Okay, Alden. I will remember that.”

“And one more thing, always smile kindly at them. Even though you don't have to respond to all greetings, when you smile it shows that you are a friendly princess."

"Okay, Aldan. I will remember that.”

"So, are you ready?"

"Yes, I am!"

Aldan and Alden immediately stood on my right and left, and I immediately put my hands on each of their arms. Although to be honest, my chest was now beating erratically because I felt nervous, embarrassed and all the feelings mixed into one. But I tried to be calm because I was sure that if Aldan and Alden were there then everything would be fine.

We stood on a podium, there were so many invited guests. Kings and Queens all over the world came in that room. I started to feel anxious until Alden and Aldan strengthened me again. I puffed out my chest, lifted my chin then walked confidently across the red carpet that stretched there.

"Thank you for your presence, the Kings and Queens who were willing to attend. Tonight we would like to introduce our Princess, the future Queen of this palace. She is Rose Merry, our long lost little sister that we finally found!”

The applause was so loud, all the invited guests stood up to congratulate me, Aldan and Alden. I really can't say anything, I felt like I was beyond flattered. Until the corner of my eye stopped, when I caught that familiar silhouette. Yes, those silhouettes were Daven and Queen Alana. They … were here?
