Chapter 103: He's playing you.

“Ma’am, we have arrived,” Marcelo informed as he parked the car.

Charlotte opened her eyes and saw that they had indeed arrived at the Gerano company. “Marcelo,” she called.

“Yes ma’am,” he answered.

“This morning when you and Jonathan saw me, why did you look at each other like that?” Charlotte asked and waited for Marcelo to answer her.

If he lied to her again, then his punishment would be doubled. He had definitely seen the love bite on her neck and had chosen not to tell her.

Marcelo scratched his head as he was confused on what to say. Mr Gerano had clearly warned them that they shouldn’t tell Charlotte about what was on her neck but was he supposed to lie to her again?

Charlotte cleared her throat to remind Marcelo that she was still waiting for his answer.

“Well ma’am, there was something on your neck. That's why we looked at each other like that,” Marcelo answered.

“You’re lucky you told me the truth but I’m still going to get back at you for lying to me,” Charlotte said
