Chapter 44 : Restricted Future

Lena's POV

I flipped nervously through the news channels, hoping to see anything except my face, but was unsuccessful. Eventually, I gave up and just left it on the last news channel it landed on.

This was not good, not good at all.

Of course, it had been in my plan to go to the media and reveal the truth about Cal and I, hoping that their uproar would force everyone to allow Cal and I to do what we wanted, but I would have never revealed the private government details.

Like being unable to leave the country.
